Beamerball 566 Report Share Posted November 24, 2013 Could make for some rough travel this week. Am a little more concerned about ice than anything else from it myself at this point.
bigcotton 40 Report Share Posted November 24, 2013 Yeah, its going to be a mess, each model is giving a different solution, and even the slightest jog this way or that in the storm could mean all the difference. Right now id probably go with some kind of mix on monday night, turning to either rain or freezing rain in some sheltered valleys or colder mountains sometime on tuesday, then turning to snow on the back end tuesday night and wed. Everyone who is going to be traveling anywhere monday night through wed is going to need to keep an eye on the forecast.
Beamerball 566 Author Report Share Posted November 26, 2013 Rain turning over to light snow for many now. Coating of snow on ground here in Lee, trying to stick some on the road. Expecting a nose of warmer air to move in overnight into tomorrow and change it over to rain, with some freezing rain possible initially. Hopefully that's a very quick icing event as they're expecting.

Beamerball 566 Author Report Share Posted November 26, 2013 Looks like everyone has finally upgraded to warnings or advisories finally. Heavy rain should move out this evening, lighter rain left behind with the next disturbance rolling in tonight enhancing moisture a bit and some colder air changing to snow late overnight into early Wednesday morning. 2-6 inches generally with 6+ possible in the higher elevations. Western facing upsolpe favored areas look to have the usual best chances for higher amounts. Upslope may kick in later Wed. with the higher elevations with the best shot at picking up some add. from it.
