redtiger 1,742 Author Report Share Posted December 13, 2013 No offense meant to any of the QBs on the team but I was SHOCKED that the QB from Eastside wasnt on the team. Incredible passer and a great runner. Should be 1st team imo fridaynightstripes

redtiger 1,742 Author Report Share Posted December 27, 2013 I guess Clintwood winning the district meant that their QB automatically got the 1st team spot? Makes no sense. Riner was a great QB and more than deserving
old_school_blue 247 Report Share Posted December 27, 2013 I guess Clintwood winning the district meant that their QB automatically got the 1st team spot? Makes no sense. Riner was a great QB and more than deserving These teams are meaningless. They never represent the complete set of the best players from any league, conference or district. Coaches barter and deal to get their players on the team. You will never have a team that is completely unbiased. Don't get me wrong, if I were a coach, I would want to push my players as well. Unfortunately, some kids are pushed because of who they are or who their parents are instead of their on the field play. There are players that make these teams (1st team, 2nd team or hon. mention) that should not have even been on the field other than clean-up duty in the 4th quarter. redtiger and fridaynightstripes
