They came out today, which is historically a full 3+ weeks earlier than usual:

 

UVA's Schedule: Bold = Home; Stars = Conference

 

Aug. 30 - UCLA    

Sept. 6 - RICHMOND    

Sept. 13 - LOUISVILLE*    

Sept. 20 - at BYU    

Sept. 27 - KENT STATE    

Oct. 4 - PITTSBURGH*    

Oct. 11 - BYE    

Oct. 18 - at Duke*    

Oct. 25 - NORTH CAROLINA*    

Nov. 1 - at Georgia Tech*    

Nov. 8 - at Florida State*    

Nov. 15 - BYE    

Nov. 22 - MIAMI*    

Nov. 28 (Fri.) - at Virginia Tech*

 

VT's Schedule:

 

Aug. 30 - WILLIAM & MARY    

Sept. 6 - at Ohio State    

Sept. 13 - EAST CAROLINA    

Sept. 20 - GEORGIA TECH*    

Sept. 27 - WESTERN MICH.    

Oct. 4 - at North Carolina*    

Oct. 11 - BYE    

Oct. 16 - at Pittsburgh*    

Oct. 23 - MIAMI*    

Nov. 1 - BOSTON COLL.*    

Nov. 8 - BYE    

Nov. 15 - at Duke*    

Nov. 22 - at Wake Forest*    

Nov. 28 (Fri.) - VIRGINIA*

 

Thoughts:

 

(1) UVA has 2 home games after October 4th.  I'm sure that's a method to ease the blow on ticket sales.  Good thinking, ACC.

(2) VT's isn't much better.  3 home games after the month of September. 

(3) VT gets 2 nice Thursday night games.

(4) UVA gets to welcome Louisville to the ACC.  What fun!

(5) I hate the double bye, but this is a more equitable distribution.

(6) I dig the Black Friday game.  Maybe it means that London will be fired in November after all!

He'd probably be fired in November if the game was on the last Saturday of the month...
