SWVAFB 218 Report Share Posted October 1, 2015 Bland has to be one of the best stories in this young season. I know some are saying they haven't played a strong schedule, but so what. Heck, Bland is undefeated, yes unbeaten. To me that is great. There is still hope for the little guy. There is still success for those that beleive in themselves from a small farming community, to be ranked in the top ten in the State. Can you imagine what it is like to walk the halls of those schools on Friday. Can you imagine the school spirit and pride in those halls. This is stuff for "Rudy" and " Hoosiers ", right hear in our back door. When I look at the scores on Friday night, what school do I look for, The Bland Bears! Go Bears! Deleted Account 5,203 Report Share Posted October 1, 2015 Bland gave Rural Retreat their only loss, which is noteworthy. But I agree. Bland is #1 by VHSL Points in 1A West at the midway point in the season. And they will likely be 5-0 after this week. Bland puts a little fear into me as a G-Men fan. Could be a statement game for Bland as a program, and Graham is not strong along the lines. Congrats to the Bears. Keep it up (except for 1 game).
