buzzsawBeaver 12 Report Share Posted December 1, 2003 Honestly, as much as I'd prefer to think otherwise, of course they do, oak hill was a much less physically talented team than bluefield in my opinion, but bluefield had some mistakes and oak hill didn't, and they had a passing game going that bluefield wasn't able to adjust to in time. Poca has what I consider to be "their" biggest advantage in this game, "belief", a powerful thing in competition. They have confidence and experience in big games. Hillbilly 14 Report Share Posted December 2, 2003 As long as #1 (Santmeyer) is healthy, they have a real good chance. The kid is a game breaker. The Beavers have to make sure this kid does not beat them, like the Oak Hill kid Grassley did. If they can contain #1 thou, they will put another trophy on the rack. The way to do that is to jump out early to a big lead, thereby not being in a position that when not if #1 breaks one, he will not hurt you.
