cogar_42 10 Report Share Posted January 6, 2007 sucks for duke...NOT!!! it will be hard to lose one in the ACC this early and be able to win the conference (especially with an amazing UNC team in the same conference.
bluefieldRocks 14 Report Share Posted January 6, 2007 Duke is a fairly young team. I honestly didnt see them winning this game to be completley honest with you. It seems that VT owns duke, for some odd reason

[/ QUOTE ] well things will even up when VT beaks UNC NEXT Saturday. Zabian Dowdell led the Hokies with 20 and Jamon Gordon had 17. It's about time VT got that win at Cameron after last years miracle shot. Just like i said in another topic, VT has the talent to beat anybody, but they can lose to anybody too. Guest JJBrickface Report Share Posted January 6, 2007 Nice win for VT at Cameron. Duke is sooo overrated like every year. Paulus has not impressed me yet in his short career.
rhsfan88 22 Report Share Posted January 6, 2007 This is the game that ruined Tech's season last year after the Dockery half court shot. Maybe the Hokies can use this as a start to have a strong showing in the ACC and maybe make the big dance...

Bluefield_Rules 46 Report Share Posted January 6, 2007 Watching Washington jump OVER Paulus' head on that play was classic. It wasn't as impressive as Vince Carter jumping over the head of the 7'2" guy trying to take the charge in the Olympics and dunking the ball, but it was nice nonetheless... Beaverteeth 10 Report Share Posted January 6, 2007 Me too. But I thought VT was having a really bad season. I would rather UNC wear them out!!!
dcecilgolf 11 Report Share Posted January 7, 2007 Your avatar craks me up beaverteeth! But on the game, VT will win some and lose some, but they do not have enough discipline. THey take a lot of stupid shots!!!
cogar_42 10 Report Share Posted January 7, 2007 i went to see tech play this year and washington is the kind of player u cant help cheering for. he does all the little things to get the job done. he took 2 or 3 charges, had around 13 points and most was from the foul line, several blocks, and so much intensity especially on the defensive end. tech can match up with anyone with their long athletic players but they need to bring their A+ game when they play #1 North Carolina. its got a nice ring to it. thanks oregon
GHS06 10 Report Share Posted January 7, 2007 i have never seen a team miss as many dunks and free throws as the VT team this year. I really think that thats all they have been practicing.
Bluefield_Rules 46 Report Share Posted January 7, 2007 Carolina hasn't gotten that #1 ranking just yet, Florida State will provide a stern test tonight for the Heels. The thing about the ACC, as usual, is that any of the 12 teams are capable of beating the others on any given night.
cogar_42 10 Report Share Posted January 8, 2007 UNC will be #1 now after taking care of FSU last night
dcecilgolf 11 Report Share Posted January 8, 2007 VT is doing good with recruiting this year, #12 nationwide recruiting.
