Bluefield_Rules 46 Report Share Posted May 27, 2004 No contact or full gear practice is allowed. It's strictly an instructional period...

Bluefield_Rules 46 Report Share Posted May 27, 2004 The dates for summer instruction this year are June 13-July 3. I don't know of daily time restrictions, but I'd say they may follow the same guidelines as practice during the season...

Bluefield_Rules 46 Report Share Posted May 27, 2004 Yes, Lucas is back and will be a senior in the fall. As for getting D1 looks, I'm not sure. However, I'd be very surprised if he doesn't kick somewhere in college...
footballfreak 10 Report Share Posted May 28, 2004 its the 14 through the 3rd and you can only have 10 practices in that time period. im pretty sure u can have time practice at any time of the day but im not sure if you can only have so many hours. a lot of teams are going to have practice the first 2 weeks that they are allowed to because of the last week of june is when a lot of families are going to take trips. however there is an alternative, coaches are allowed to take teams to team camps during that time period. i think you can take your team to a 3 day camp but u can only take somewhere around 20 to a camp. there they have some college coaches and give some help to the coaches and the teams separate and have there own practices. the advantage to that is they can have 2 or 3 practices a day. i think WVU and Marshall have them and a lot of small colleges have them too. a lot of are starting to have 2 separate camps a team camp in june and an individual camp in July. as for bluefield and their kicker. that is where bluefield has an advantage over a lot of teams they play, they have superb special teams. and of course there are 3 parts to football, offense, defense and special teams. and special teams is where bluefield has an advantage. if you dont think special teams is that important then look at the williamstown, moorefield championship game. they have a great kicker. lucas stone is real accurate. he can kick it where ever and however he wants. he could go D1. if not D1 he could kick for a college somewhere.
