Is there any blufield fan that doesnt pick Bluefield? and Is there any Graham fan that doesnt pick Graham?

this upset doesnt surprise me at all. there is a lot of factors that might have played part in this loss. maybe lilly worked his kids to the point that they just got tired from busting there butts for so long and just reached that point of exhaustion and reached there peak too early in the season? maybe coach lilly's comments in the newspaper about his team after the loss to nitro made the team get mad at lilly? maybe the loss of peters at LB and starting a freshman in his place hurt pretty bad? maybe they just fell apart? see there is a lot of factors that play in this. if your a head coach you should never blame the game on one kid like he did in the newspaper. he should have told him that at practice and not embarass him in the public like that. how would he feel if someone told everyone that he was on steroids for a while? i think lilly got what he deserved and the kids just got caught up in the mess. i want to say congrats to the players they played the best they could it just sucks they got stuck with a coach like lilly that cant take the blame for his own actions.

in my opinion they have the best QB in the state. its a close race between him, Newell (Wayne), and Sperlazza (weir) for the best QB in the state. he is also a very good DB too. their offense is a scoring machine. there D is aggresive but they wont make it past weir or wayne though. the top bracket is stacked the state champ will come from the top bracket.

who's field is Hite Field is it Liberty's or RCB or Bridgeport? ill be in the area so i might stop by and watch. i think bluefield is a dark horse and if they can knock hoover out then they will beat james monroe in the semis but then again bluefield will be on the road all the way through. just watch out for wayne or weir if bluefield gets to wheeling. cuz they might dump the points on bluefield if they get a chance.

im not gonna make a prediction but this game will be decided in the trenches. i think james monroe has an advantage there but if bluefield gets outside its gonna be a high scoring game because james monroe has an offense too.

Weir would wax JM just with passing. as for the bluefield/JM game, James Monroe should win this i probably one of the best o-lines in the state and none of them are seniors if bluefield doesnt wanna hit like i have heard and read about on here then bluefield will be in for a long night in the trenches. bluefield will have to outscore mt.view, mt.view has been giving up significant amounts of points.

What about shady/independence? any thoughts?

[/ QUOTE ] beating us physically is questionable and kinda funny too. yea we got beat by bluefield and they beat us bad im not goin to be afraid to admit that but i will say one thing you all didn't have anything to do with us losing that game. as for you being a mt. hope player you sound about like one of the maynards so i will guess you are one of them.

My guess of why Mt.View decided to do this was b/c they needed money so i would say the coal company made a pretty big donation.

Maybe they'll beat Greenbrier East if there not to tore up from playin Parkersburg the week before. and maybe St. Albins other then those teams who can they beat? like it or not they will be 0-3 after the first 3 games and with there attitudes they wont win 7 straight to get a decent seed in the playoffs. i know you can be 5-5 and make the playoffs in AAA but i dont see them beating Cabell Midland, Huntington or Nitro. Who do they have coming back on the line that has much experience and is good?

No, Tim Carrico from shady is coaching over there now. A lot of ppl thought Alls was going but hes not. Like someone said earlier probably bench press 350 lbs. and lose every game. I give them the credit they have good athletes but they just dont think they have the attitude, until they get off there high horse and realize that no one is scared of them, i dont see them winning many games. Lilly is boosting there egos and there gonna be in for a huge let down.

sissonville will have a pretty decent QB this year he just doesnt have much around him. i think he is probably one of the most underrated QB's is AA. i think wayne and weir will be the teams to beat. and if any coaching Mt. View

i honestly think Scott has the best team there. there QB is one if not the best QB in the state Sperlazza from Weir is good too dont get me wrong. Mt. View dropped out if they wouldnt have dropped out they would have won the tournament. and if you think your could crush Mt. Veiw in a actual game, hahaha think again. they lost 5 seniors and only 3 of them started. they have their QB back and he has 2 receivers around him that are at least 6'6 or taller. there is no one on your all's schedule that has the speed compared to Mt. Veiw. i'll be there saturday. we will see you there. and we will see if you back up the trash but remember this tournament is about like going out and playing touch football with friends.
