Bluefield_Rules 46 Report Share Posted October 7, 2004 Before the game even starts mind you. When they're more concerned about your team (their opponent) having a letdown than they are about how they're going to play...

Bluefield_Rules 46 Author Report Share Posted October 7, 2004 The point is that it's a mistake to be more concerned with the other team and in something you cannot control, such as a letdown, then it is to be concerned with your own team. It sends the wrong message to your players and the focus isn't on what it should be. The chances of a team having a "letdown" is a lot less when it's talked about constantly and ran into the ground by the other coach and media.
