wave88 10 Author Report Share Posted October 20, 2004 Grundy scored on it's OT possession but missed the 2 point conversion. Richlands got sacked on 1st down on their possession and never really seemed to recover. I don't have any official stats but Jimmy Ashby caught about a 30 yard pass that set them up on about the 3 yard line for a TD (Josh McCowan I think) and their other TD came on another Josh McCowan run in OT. RHSWR1 10 Report Share Posted October 21, 2004 I watched the game on film. I give both teams credit for being able to what they did on that field. I think that grundy had a better game plan for defense. It is hard to throw the ball so grundy brought up all there linebackers and ran goalline all night at least thats what it looked like. Richlands line still stopped them but there was just to many people to try to block on the line. I am suprised that both teams had that many yards passing. wave88 10 Author Report Share Posted October 21, 2004 Grundy blitzed most of the night cause that usually works for us. It was tough to do hardly anything the entire night because of the field. I'm not for sure if Caleb Jennings played or not. I think he did, but somebody from Richlands probably knows more than I do about it.
