buzzsawBeaver 12 Report Share Posted October 24, 2004 I've been reading the wv and va scores listed in small print in the daily telegraph for years, maybe 2 decades, because they list every known game from the previous night, and it never ceases to amaze me how every time it seems there's some odd school in va that I've never ever heard of or don't recognize. Teams from years past such as goochland, and fluvana. Tonight, it was denbigh, and blessed sacrament-hugenot. Where do these people come up with these places or schools? Oh well. CougarFan 10 Report Share Posted October 24, 2004 Denbigh (pronounced denbee) is one of the older schools in Newport News. Go to Denbigh HS and scroll down to the History section, and you'll know where the name comes from. Blessed Sacrement-Hugenot is a private school.
