Bluefield_Rules 46 Author Report Share Posted December 18, 2004 Jersey might now have Kidd, Carter, and Jefferson, but they seriously need some big guys to play inside. They traded away three of the best big men to get Carter...
WaveFan09 50 Report Share Posted December 18, 2004 i agree, theyre fine at the top of the key, but if they could get Dirk Nowitzki and Peja Stoackivich(SP?) they would be unbeatable
Bluefield_Rules 46 Author Report Share Posted December 19, 2004 [ QUOTE ] i agree, theyre fine at the top of the key, but if they could get Dirk Nowitzki and Peja Stoackivich(SP?) they would be unbeatable [/ QUOTE ] There's no way they'll be able to trade and land a big man of that caliber. Outside of Kidd, Carter, and Jefferson that have nothing of value on the roster. And quite honestly, Jefferson is one of the most overrated players in the league. Yes, he can run and dunk, but he has no consistent shot outside of 10-feet...
89bluedevil 10 Report Share Posted December 19, 2004 New Jersey does need a big man, but in the weaker Eastern Conference if Carter plays well they should be a playoff team.
89bluedevil 10 Report Share Posted December 19, 2004 They should have never put 2 franchises in Canada anyway. However, I'm seeing a lot of empty seats on TV all over the country.
