rhs03 10 Report Share Posted December 29, 2004 this year the liberty bowl features the #7 and #10 teams in the AP poll (louisville and boise state respectively), which is combined a little better than both the rose bowl (#6 texas and #13 michigan) and the fiesta bowl (#5 utah and #19 pittsburgh). i'd say it's overlooked annually because unlike the rest of those good non-bcs bowls (gator, capital one, outback, cotton, etc.) it has two non-bcs conference affiliations - usually the conference usa champion plays the mountain west champion. the bcs is adding another bowl game (i forget if it's next year or the year after), so this is a pretty important subject.
