Bearcat Dad 439 Report Share Posted September 25, 2017 Chilhowie's junior class is pretty good. I still feel that they will be playing in late November at 1A. They have played well all season, even in their losses against Marion and GW. Coming off of their bye, I feel that the Cats win big, pulling away in the second half, before they hit the meat of their schedule @ Abingdon, @ Graham, Lebanon, Marion, and @ Richlands. SWVAFB 218 Report Share Posted September 25, 2017 This game should be a good one, with athletes all over the field. Chilhowie is 1A, but can play with most 2A teams. VIRGINIA HIGH is always very talented and capable of putting points on the board very fast. This game is very important for both teams, with a lot of power points at stake. Bearcat Dad 439 Report Share Posted September 30, 2017 Tonight was definitely the Bearcats' sloppiest game of the year. Came out flat after the bye. Had to be around 100 yards in penalties, two of which negated TDs. They muffed a punt and lost another fumble on top of the muff. BigWinners 1,643 Report Share Posted September 30, 2017 If any team takes VHS lightly, they'll get smacked around. A very good ball team. Edit-VHS plays Marion in regular season, correct? Should be a heck of a game. They will have a couple of tough ones before Marion, though. @ Abingdon and @ Graham over the next two weeks.
