Don't know much about Lebanon but my gut says Lee by at least 2 TDS.

Lee again was to much for TW. I do believe that TW is going to have a good year though, they have a good size line that blocks really well. Lee started out really sluggish and only looked to have played half of what their capable of. Once Lee fixes their special teams (which looked down right terrible) they will be hard to handle. Hey guys I respect Gate City and pull for them on every game except with Lee. I played football at Lee in early 90s before transferring to Bell county, KY where my parents paid tuition so I could play ball there. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but people who pay property taxes in Scott County pays a good portion of the money that is required to keep gate city open. If so does out of county or out of state kids pay a tuition? If not I bet that a lot of tax payers wouldn't agree paying for kids not from the county to go to school and not paying ( not everyone are sports fans). There are a way to circumvent the system, which is a fraudulent action, get a P.O. box in the county.

Several Lee county kids go to Gate City just to play football! I know of 2 maybe 3 that live in Lee county and drive all the way there to play sports.

I stand corrected as well I'm a Lee fan and have much respect for Gile's football program! I never saw this coming I didn't think Glenvar had a Snowballs chance in **** in winning this game. What happened? Hokiebird7 Giles is a top notch team whatever people say not many football teams will have a win streak as long as you guys have had!

I was hoping that Gate City would have won, but congratulations on your win Richlands glad there is atleast a team from SWVA still in it. Great game. Hope to see you guys play Glenvar in the final.

I think that it has a lot to do with the almighty dollar! if there was only 8 teams from each east/west make it, which is what I think it should be. ( even though we wouldn't have made it this year at 9th seed.) there would be 15 games, with 16 from each there's 31 games. Like Giles and Lee game it was packed $7 a ticket x 5-6,000 people not to mention half and half which was $1,000 and consessions, just tickets alone for that 1 game was atleast $35,000...... If all games could bring just that with 31 playoff games it would bring well over 1 millon into Va schools.

Congratulations to giles on their win against the Generals. Of course I wished the outcome would've been different but the better team was giles. The game could've been closer if our receivers hadn't dropped 4 passes that was laid in their hands at the end zone. Although they are just kids that played their hearts out all year. Congratulations to Gate City and Richlands on their wins. Should be a great game but I'm pulling for our neighbors Gate City but either way thanks for representing SWVA football as well as the many people in this area that takes pride in our football and way of life. When Lee's QB Sage has a good day he can let em fly he has around 2000 yards passing this year he surpassed the school record in game 8. We have gotten back to our roots the last 3 games running the ball and working the clock.

I would agree with you. I'd love to see union rematch.

I believe we've scored 419 points and only have given up 202... I think that's not bad as some of our defense are freshmen and sophomores

Our defense is the best this year since in the 90s the 2 games we lost were by a total of 4 points, but as many have said we are unfamiliar with the single wing. Hopefully coach Martin and the rest of Lee's coaching staff have done enough to defend it.... our middle schools are more familiar the wing as jms has played several TN teams running it the last 2 years.

I'm really looking foward to this game! Lee has a very good team this year and I'm hoping we'll win. A lot of people thinks Giles will shut Lee down I on the other hand think it will be a close game. I watched Giles this year once and absolutely they are a great team, but they didn't have that WOW factor that I was exspecting IMO. I'm praying we can bring Gile's win streak to a halt. I certianly would have rathered drawn out with someone else this round though.

We tried to take our horse to Appomattox they wouldn't let us on the field with it!!!! Lol

No injuries that I'm aware of. We have been really blessed this year!

I use to work at Buckingham it takes 4.5 from Kingsport to there well over the 3.5

General Lee surrendered in 1865 at Appomattox but 2014 the Lee Generals won the war and had there cannon! Lol hoping that all the mountain district all bring home victories next week!

It's been a while since the players, fans, and the community in Lee county have shown as much enthusiasm for General's football as they have this year. Takes me back to the early 90s through mid 90s at Lee. I'm hoping Gate city and Union wins next week as well.
