  1. Well sadly we know how this is going to go and given that Honaker will likely squeak by once more... Yeah smartass I meant what I said. So again when Galax spanks Honakers ass I will be cheering boastfully <3
  2. As for Haysi... Keep rollin' baby some of us Hurley folk choose to root for this set of tigers right cha'. Listen to Colley and do what he says because he is a football GOD!
  3. I can't wait to Galax spanks that ass for ya Richlands C team aka Honaker Tiggers *rubs hands together with a shit eating grin*
  4. Well Honaker gets the win. If Radfords QB could have been on the field then it would of been a much different ball game. Hell if Radford would of had about 45 seconds they would of easily won this one with their backup! Juss sayin'
  5. Hurley is up 14-0 over Twin Valley in the second quarter
  6. The Rebels are ready to lay some wood tonight! Goodluck to the Rebels and lets hope it's a good game with no injuries for either team. Everyone come out and support your team for this one, because it should be a good one!
  7. If Hurley comes out hitting then I think it will be a bad night for the Twin Hollers, especially since it's at the cliff. If Hurleys line fires off the ball and blocks for the backs then they will run wild. However, our defensive line needs to step up and stop Shortridge at the line or at least stand him up for Stacy and Hardin to finish. If they try to arm tackle him then they will be some first downs and some extended drives early on, that could sway the game to be a close one. The crowd is always like a 12th man at the CLIFF, so everyone better come out and support the home team. GO REBELS and knock some heads this week!
  8. Someone should do a live stream of this game! This will be an epic battle of two high quality teams.
  9. Haysi will dominate this game in each aspect IMO. Haysi will spread the field and throw it around with the occasional draw to Yates to keep you honest. Honakers linebackers are big and slow and won't be able to cover the crossing routes when it comes in their zone. I think Haysi will do a good job covering Honakers pass and will definately stuff their run game. I look for it to be about 28-10 or so.
  10. If they show up to actually play then I think this will be about a 35-12 game. If they come out and half ass their assignments and lack drive to get after people then the panthers may just give them a shot. I think the Rebels need to get a fire back under their asses and look back at how well they played Honaker that first half to realize what COULD be. Maybe then the guys would start to believe and we could turn some heads and get some respect for a change. Rebels by about 3-4 touchdowns if they come out ready to play and if not Twin Valley by 12. Shortridge is a hard nosed player who will run through you not around you, so I hope the defense is ready to man up this week.
  11. I feel sorry for all of the neighboring teams, because they are about to have their good underclassman recruited. J/K
  12. Well man I thought the Rebels were a little better than this given how they played against Grundy all game long and Honaker the first half. Goodluck to the Haysi Tigers the rest of the season! I'd love to see you all get a state championship. Coach Colley does such wonders with that small school and the players are obviously dedicated toward football.
  13. What the heck is happening with Richlands? Is that new guy doing anything? I figured this would be a way different game, but just heard it's 20-6 in favor of the Falcons.
  14. It's like 48-8 at halftime...I heard the rebels are playing banged up pretty bad tonight from last week, but still it's no excuse for this poor of an outting tonight.
  15. Yeah man I don't understand this shit tonight... I don't know if Haysi is just that good or if Hurley has just gave up on the season after last week... They are a lot better than they are playing I know that. They have a good coaching staff and I'm sure they were prepared all week, so the guys bound to have not got up off their ass from last week... Sounds like Craig Stacy and Oliver are giving hard efforts tonight though.
  16. Welp this one is over before halftime. I really don't understand what is going on at Hurley, but I hope they figure it out soon.
  17. Yeah the Rebels are playing like shit or have just plain laid down one or the other... I really don't know what is going on with these guys. They were looking great the first half against Honaker and haven't showed up to play since... SMH.
  18. Well sounds like the well coached Tigers are already marching off with this one.
  19. Haysi gave them all they wanted and then some! That was a great game and I could of sworn Haysi won, but it had been so long ago lol.
  20. They have a great program that is for sure.
  21. I recall Haysi playing Sullivan North about 5 years ago or so. Not sure what "A" that team is in Tennessee, but they were an awesome team with big guys and big depth if I recall right. I do believe Haysi pulled out a win that Saturday, am I right? I believe they had the Flemming and Whitt then to only name a few key players.
  22. Very well said and very true. About Honaker, they seem to always have such horsepower on the field and even when rotating some in and out, the ones off the bench are just as strong. More on Hurley, Coach Tester and staff push the guys hard each week in the conditioning aspect of things, because they know they have to given low numbers. One nice thing about being small though is that you will see plenty of action come Friday night. Tiger it sure is a beautiful thing when a small team can kick the crud out of one with the sidelines loaded! I'm sure you have saw Haysi behead some giants.
  23. Well when I played I was usually on everything, besides maybe kickoff or kickoff return and I have to say it was rough; but as the season goes you lose some weight and build the stamina required to be able to play hard without much fatigue. I didn't use it as a crutch as a player and I'm sure the coaches aren't going to use it as an excuse ever, though it is a valid one and most definitely is a really big factor overall when playing a school with depth. Greg Tester and his staff are awesome guys and great coaches to play for. They show a lot of interest in you and really try to build up your confidence all season long and push you in the weight room during offseason. Trust me they run the tails off those guys each week to try to build up endurance that will last the entire stretch, but sometimes it still isn't enough I admit. I think given the numbers we have to offer they do an amazing job with what they have. Maybe we can get some redemption this week and shock the district and SWVA by knocking the Tigers off. I know their an amazing team with a legendary coaching staff. My prediction is Hurley 20 Haysi 14.
  24. It's sad though, because the ones who keep putting off playing until next year or that are on the verge of playing and don't will wish to the good Lord that they had of once it's over and their out of school.
