The 70 and 30 quote on another thread is correct and despite what everyone likes to believe Abingdon kids are as tuff and work as hard as anyone else.

We would get more points playing 3a schools . But wins and losses affects that as well. We would get more points playing a 3a school with same record and opponent record as a 2a school. That's my understanding

It is a problem but I'm happy to play schools like Ridgeview and Union that fill the stands . Driving to Christiansburg to win by 4tds and out number the home team in fans isnt much fun . Ridgeview showing up with all their Rowdy fans at Abingdon was awesome. Friday at Union was great so glad my son was able to experience what SW VA football is all about

All Washington Countys middle and Highschool special need students go to Abingdon. I have no idea how many that is , but Ahingdon is one of then smaller 3a schools. That being said I remember when we had 3 classifications and the same problems and no one complained. What a great game and Great atmosphere Friday at Union if the Gentleman that was complainings team had one we wouldnt be having this Discussion. Abingdon has picked up Tenn. High and Richlands next year and I look forward to the big game with both . Richlands are always a class act even in defeat.

Abingdon is much tougher physically than they were, and our line is much improved. Graham is very talented but the Falcons are as well . Abingdon will win this close game .

Blacksburg certainly has more than 1 athlete !

Blacksburg was an excellent team. Very bad call going for it on 4th down with very short field CRAZY
