Canes#75 reacted to Fisheye in BHC Offensive Player Selections
Let be honest, Wagnor overcame a lot on and off the field to achieve what he did. That combined with his great season should have landed him on the BHC All Area team as the second running back. There are a lot of variables, but to deny him that area honor (when he was recognized at the state level) seems crazy. Stats aren't everything, and even then, you have to look at stats closely to see what they really indicate. Simcox was put in to kick 4 50-plus yard FGs knowing that if the ball crossed the goal line it would come out to the 20. Safer than a punt, no return, and all resulted in touchbacks, but lowered his percentage. 45 yards and in: 6/9, and 4/4 40 to 45 yards. But if you look at just raw stats, his numbers aren't so good. The BHC just didn't know enough in either of these cases to make (in my opinion) a better choice.
I don't want to take away from either of the two that got on the team. But my opinion is that Simcox, and especially Wagnor, deserved to be on that list.
Fun to debate!

Anybody else confused by the fact that Wagner and Simcox didn't make it? Makes ZERO sense.

Thank you @BlueRazor for showing the love and respect this sport deserves. Thanks also for the props to #75. He is actually a walk-on senior this year and hasnt played since youth football. He is a definitely a beast!!

I am his Mom so I am a little predjudice but I think he has had an amazing season. I've watched him and the entire team grow so much this year. And you're right, to be his size he can move.
I've never posted on here before (mostly just stalked...lol) but I had to create an account to thank you for the compliments and respect. I appreciate a true football fan.

Thanks Canes#75. Wow that's very impressive ! That young man impressed us and he was just a man last night. To be so big he had great feet and agility. To be so big he is a ATHLETE at over 300lbs. You don't get many like that

Agreed Blueinbama ! I for one didn't see the outcome of this game going this way and I got to talk with my Friend Canes and many other Marion fans. Canes is a GREAT guy and there fans was super nice to me and Ryan. I'm sure all Coaches say things they wish they hadn't have said.
I know its what a lot of people say but we really do mean it.....Great season to the Marion football community! Best of luck to all the senior players on the team and that #75 was a beast last night. Great game for that young man! Good luck to Sam Wagner also. Most of us Richlands fans don't agree with the first post in this thread Marion fans.
