I'm not gonna lie...if we win I want Graham to win....not because i'm scared to play a great union team but i would prefer a home game the next week instead of the long trip to big stone gap...But I think Union rolls Graham...and we need to worry about a great glenvar team before checking scores of other games

Go to the Richlands game and bring a radio for the tech game. Sounds like a good plan to me.

Graham has lost to four 9-1 teams and the other to a good Galax team. This isn't gonna be a cakewalk. The Richlands and Giles games got ugly though.

The next leg of the state title chase next week will see the G-Men of Graham travel to Union to take on the Bears.

 

 

 

I don't know much about Graham, other than their impressive victory last night. Are they a pass-first team or more of a smash mouth running team? Do they have a lot of team speed? Any big athletes that can really run to match up with Union's talent on the outside?

 

What players should I look out for next Friday?

 

Is the game definitely friday, didn't think that would be decided already

Very surprised how bad they were. John battle could of beat them. No running game and the QB had no time to throw, but we looked really good tonight, the defense has really stepped up the past few weeks.

If u like cowbells go to a bath co. game, you may change your mind after.

Just messing with u man, glenvars defense is tough though, seen them last year.

From what I can find it looks like Cole Simpson is the coach. I know max preps sucks but you can get a lot of stats on gretna, if there right.

I'm waiting for an official word, but I'd assume Richlands/Grayson will be Friday night. Mance HATES moving to a Saturday game unless he has to.

Only film I can find of them is from 2011, don't know if they run same offense though.

If it's over 3 hours, the visiting team decides what day to play. This means that Gretna wanted to play this game on friday night.

 

Thanks Ryan, I like the friday night games better anyway unless it's cold but the atmosphere is a little better. Seems like union fans don't get too excited on Saturday.

Appomattox won the game right, maxpreps has them losing 38-7. Just trying to make sure.
