Bearcat Bob I was gonna ask the same thing, who did VA High draft this year but I didnt feel like arguing the rest of the season. With that being said I dont blame any kid or parent for putting their kid in what they think might better their kids chance of getting noticed or going to a school where coaches actually try to get their players into the next level, not saying Honaker did or didnt but what ever they feel betters their chances

Im ready for some baseball, our schools game was cancelled today but im sure theres some games that got played today, any scores anybody would like to share?

When Talford played in the old Castlewood gym you better just stay right after school if you was gonna get a seat, I wonder what that gym holds? Not sure what it held but it was lined around the gym with standing room only , a player didnt even have a good place to throw the ball in, which Talford could pack a gym but the fact is it didnt take much to pack that gym and you was crushed worse than sardines if you did get a seat. It was fun like that though because fans really got into being that close and that tight.

I agree with you 1inStripes the kid from RC shows a lot of promise for the future for RC, Cwood has to be aggressive and hard nosed on D since they lack height. The 6 5 kid for RC also has those really long arms, if he grows another few inches he'll be scary to deal with.

Would like to see peoples thoughts on div1 and Div2 rankings instead of them all thrown together, maybe a top ten in each.

Ridgeview will definitely be tough, I hear they have very good size and have some excellent shooters. Cwood will have to keep it up if their gonna get any respect around the area. Theres a few given a little respect while others are just saying these schools are down this year. Either way Cwood according to the papers wasn't supposed to be doing what they have done. No pressure on them in most games their the underdog, good luck blue.

High tempo and fun to watch. They pulled out a close one tonight against Central again, every game might be like that , they may not blow anybody out but their gonna give it everything they have. Under this second year coach hes starting to really know the boys and their strengths and is playing to it. Dont know how it will end but their fun to watch.
