You can expect the refs the be awful tonight, cause they have been all year. Just don't whine when it's called bad both ways.

All the refs on this end of the state are awful, they anticipate calls, call ticky tack fouls, and miss the obvious. It hurts teams once they make it deeper in the post season. It's not just Richlands whose been getting "bad refs" it's all of swva. I've seen so many games called horribly both ways this season. I don't hate Richlands, I respect them. But, I do hate Union and Va High.

Excuses already?

If Union gets down they panic, as long as they can stay within striking distance they should be able to win. They've only lost to 3 teams, 2 during the Arbys and GC 3 times. BUT, if you can't make free throws, you don't win this time of the year. Union really struggles from the charity stripe. And if Graham has a crowd like they did vs GC last year it'll rattle Union. Gate City 73 Richlands 58. GC is at least a 6 point favorite at home, McClung and Co are hard to keep up with when they are pushing the ball up the court. I see a 15 point win if the Devils can stay out of foul trouble.

I heard if not for the refs GC would've left Union in regulation with a 15 point victory.

Both new Wise Co schools gyms are awful. I much rather watch a game anywhere else in swva than those two schools.

Good luck with that JV Boys championship. GC defeated Union by 10 at Union tonight. 44-34. I expect the same result in Varsity tomorrow night. Go Blue!

Union who just about lost to Battle and Ridgeview at No. 1? Nah.

Ridgeview comes to GC tonight in a super Girls: I look for GC to put the 2nd loss on RV this season. RV's lone loss is to Wise Central back before Christmas. A Wise Central team, GC was able to defeat at the buzzer without Jordan Houseright and Kaely Gose going down in the first half. GC wins it at the charity stripe late. GC 48 RV 46 Boys: RV took Union into OT and let Battle squeek by on back to back nights. RV is anxious to make their existence known the the CMC but they'll have to wait until after tonight. RV suffers their 3rd loss in row. Though It'll be the biggest test in conference for GC so far. GC has broke the 80 point mark 3 games in a row. GC proves themselves tonight setting up for a dandy vs Union Friday night. GC 84 RV 71

GC didn't look all that great last night vs John Battle. Only won by 13, but did manage to score 79 points. GCs defense will end up costing them unless they figure it out.
