Not to take anything away from our team but I think Ridgeview comes in ready to pounce with a chip on their shoulder. Graham needs to limit turnovers, penalties, etc. Our LOS on both sides of the ball is a definite strength but Ridgeview says their line is tough too and defense clicking on all cylinders. I haven’t watched enough film to comment just going by posts on here. I think our coaches adjust well against opponents and our boys will be ready & dialed in. They are super focused right now on Ridgeview & Ridgeview only! I think a lot of people thought without Brody and Zay Graham wouldn’t be at the same level. I think our boys are just as good as last year if not better in some aspects. I’m not committed to a Graham blowout because Ridgeview has multiple weapons in their arsenal. I’ll be glad if we just win by a field goal.

I think Graham’s defensive mastermind might be in the running for that title, lol. Seriously, Grayson has had a great season and I won’t be surprised if they pull the win but I equally won’t be surprised if GW wins. I think it’s that kind of game! Good luck to both!

That seems to be a correct summation. GMen will let their pads do the talking on Saturday! I'm sure our coaches will have them ready and the boys will be dialed in. I wouldn't suggest Ridgeview come up with a Plan B in the playoffs to stay one step ahead of Graham's defense. Risky changing one's offense asking kids to do something new they're not used to but that's just me. I'd stick with what works & make adjustments if needed.

I don't see a "lotta" Graham folks giving Ridgeview no chance. I think Graham will need to play their best game of the year to get by Ridgeview. I think this game could go either way.

GW definitely has the athletic advantage. I see this being close but GW squeaking it out. I wouldn't be totally shocked if Grayson wins because they are playing very well. It should be a good game. Congratulations to both for making it to the region final.

I agree with this statement. Ridgeview will be a tough out for the GMen! I have full confidence in our coaching staff to adequately prepare our boys. I like the cleaning up of the penalities and discipline our boys are showing. If we control the clock, limit penalties & turnovers, and if we can make Beavers & Hill non factors that would be a plus, lol. I’m not saying we do that but if anyone can come up with a defensive plan to be successful it’s Rex & Snake. They’re good at making in game adjustments too. I also like the way Tony Palmer has evolved our offense incorporating some short & intermediate passing schemes. I know a very talented Ridgeview will be ready & want to continue their "No Score November" mantra and take the win so the GMen will need their. A++++++++ game to be successful next Saturday.

Yeah, I don’t get it. We can fill the stadium for the Bluefield game and can’t get two sections full for the playoffs. I don’t miss a game. It’s embarrassing to say the least. Our boys need a big loud crowd next week against a tough Ridgeview team.

I agree! Graham fans need to show up loud & proud next Saturday. I think in general NFHS has hurt attendance especially on days like today. Thank goodness for an enthusiastic band.

I’ve been there for a game before. It’s a very nice campus & stadium not bad. Seats are are pretty elevated for a good view.

You just had to bring that game up , didn’t you? 😂 I was concerned when the GMen came out in those yellow on yellow uniforms today since that spring game was the 1st time we wore them. Still have flashbacks!

Should be a barn burner! Hope GMen can stop the pass & come out victorious! Can the GMen contain O’Quinn? Stop Beavers? Ridgeview has lots of weapons. I know the coaches will have our boys ready. I want to thank Bluefield for helping us play at home! I would have hated that drive to Clintwood! What do y’all think? How’s this game shake out?
