@Union_Fan Someone on the other board said an undefeated Ridgeview out points an undefeated Graham because of Auburn & Galax/GW not getting points for them. Can you verify this is accurate?

All I have to say is go Bluefield & Glenvar 😂! If I weren’t going to Blacksburg, I’d be at Mitchell watching! I may have to watch it on my phone while watching GMen in person, lol!

I really think Fuller has improved tremendously as the season has progressed. Unless RV does better with the play calling on O, I think Bluefield can manage a win. I’m like you could be back & forth all night.

What a crazy playoff system that this year’s Richlands team makes the cut 😂. There’s definitely an argument to be made for going down to 6 teams 😂! Kudos to Dylan Brown, that kid has carried this team back into the playoffs it seems. Heck of an athlete.

Big game for the Beavers! Everyone counted them out of the playoffs after their dismal start but they’re starting to roll. Ridgeview has talent to spare but I’d put Freddie’s coaching & play calling ahead of theirs unless something changes by next week. The last time the Wolfpack was at Mitchell they lost. Will they win this go around? If Ridgeview is looking ahead to the playoffs, Bluefield could upset the applecart. If anyone can pull a win over an undefeated Ridgeview, Bluefield can in my opinion. Whether that happens, who knows? I wouldn’t put money on this game either way. Should be a heck of a night of football! Thoughts?

Maybe Ridgeview is trying to psych out everyone & they're saving screens, short passes, bubble passes, etc. for playoffs? 🤷🏻‍♂️ If not, they may find it difficult to make a deep run. There’s so much talent on that team but Bluefield is reaching their stride and I wouldn’t be shocked if the Beavers win unless Ridgeview utilizes Beavers better (pun intended). If I’m not mistaken, I may have read it on here. The Beavers kid’s dad played for Richlands where Dennis “ Snake” Palmer coached at the time. I’d say he’s well aware the Graham will have their defense ready if they meet Ridgeview in the playoffs. Rex & Snake will have those boys prepared on defense, the question is, will Ridgeview change up their offense? I watched on NFHS last night, I agree with everyone else, offense play calling is very lacking.

I don’t think some of us are writing them off. I think we’re just impressed with how Floyd handled them tonight. They could play again & blow the Buffaloes out.

I don’t know about that but heck of a game by Floyd. I’ll be interested to see how Bobcats do against Glenvar.

This is really surprising me with all the Radford chatter. Floyd must be pretty decent team.

If Radford has trouble stopping run, if they and Graham end up playing, that could make it quite the game. Graham has had some trouble defending the pass , (Radford’s strength according to a lot) Graham is improving in that area though. Graham has great line play on both sides of the ball, one of their other strengths. Seeing the updates, I wonder how good Radford’s line is in comparison. Several on other board were already handing Radford the state championship. They may but you can’t look ahead like that. Stay focused on each week.

Radford has talent to spare. If we meet, I hope we can contain that talent, lol!

The article posted above sort of eludes they expect to be state champions. Crist really lucked up getting to coach at Radford with all that talent. The support coaching staff must be really good. There’s still a lot of football to be played before Salem. I’m not saying Radford makes or not, they may but have to win region , state semifinal, & championship before claiming the trophy.
