I’d say that’s pie in the sky talk until I see the kid actually enrolled. A lot of us thought Webb was playing for Bluefield this year, never materialized. He stayed put. What I’m saying is, talk is usually just that, talk.

KW had a lot of jawing today. I’m really surprised there weren’t more flags than they got. I know that sounds like sour grapes but they were a mouthy bunch.

Congratulations to KW , the better team today but I really would have loved to played this game with a healthy Blevins on defense & Sawyers. It’s hard when your normal outside linebackers aren’t in the game and you're playing against a KW with a Claiborne. He’s the real deal! Not making excuses, we got our butts beat. I’m not sure the score would have been the same with a 100% healthy Graham. Not saying Graham wins but saying it would most likely have been closer. Proud of our boys for keeping it classy and on a spectacular season. Wish it would have ended differently.

And he is but QB is a beast too! Hope the coaches give them the “talk” of the season at half & offense can mix it up to throw KW off.

KW practiced at Ferrum this afternoon.

Nothing to do with cocktail party but I can remember Richlands going to state playoffs, I believe early 2000s (someone can correct me if I’m wrong) but a buddy from Richlands said Mance decided to go spend the night. They took the boys to the mall, maybe the movies, etc. the night before the game. Blues ended up losing according to my buddy because the boys weren’t focused & totally distracted. I don’t condone distracting minors with hookers but I’m totally fine if KW coaches took the boys out to Valley View or the movies tonight 😂😂😂😂😂!

I just can’t, don’t want to jinx myself. I’m just keeping my 🤞crossed for a win!!!!

I would bet the coaches have well prepped the players for what it's going to take to bring Claiborne down. If the boys execute what they've been taught & practiced, GMen have a really good chance on Saturday.

I think he’ll be about the same as the past two weeks, limited & not utilized on defense. I do think he’ll give it all that’s humanly possible considering his injury. He’s a tough one that plays with his whole heart.

From the clip you shared, they don’t look to be in as good of physical condition and maybe a bit slower but I guess we won’t truly know until Saturday when the teams hit the field. I really think GMen players and coaches are all dialed in , will be ready. KW is coming up Friday and spending the night which unlike Appomattox is new to them. It’s a 3.5 hour trip, they really don’t have a choice with a noon kickoff. I just wonder how having that many boys in a hotel together before the absolute biggest game of their lives will work for them. It may be to their advantage or it may have no bearing at all. It’s obviously better than leaving at 6am for the biggest game of the year.

That Claiborne kid is speedy and shifty. Hope the GMen can put the brakes on him. KW has some big ones on the field.
