Cumberland petitioned a few years back to be allowed not to play Goochland in the James River District because of the lopsided losses. I'm surprised they even showed up.

Play Calling for Marion is Atrocious.

Gate City fakes a punt on 4th and 8 - punting from their own goal line - and they make it. 1st and 10 from their own 42.

Marion taking their time, running the play clock down, purposely slowing the game down. Break the huddle with about 10 seconds left on each play. Drive nearly the length of the field to the Gate City 11. On 4th and 5 they opt to go for it and get stopped. Marion runs off 10:26 of the 1st quarter on their opening possession and come up empty.

I sound like a broken record, but the key for Tazewell is giving Creasy time to throw the ball. If he is pressured, it causes problems. Tazewell looks lost on offense without him. The teams that had success against Tazewell, put him under tremendous pressure.

John Marshall cancelled their game with Riverheads, citing lack of healthy players. Just wondering, if every public school that they play in basketball should return the favor.

No depth for them at all. I thought they looked bad in their scrimmage against Abingdon when I watched them, but the Graham game made me think they may be better then what they showed in the scrimmage, now I realize, both Graham and Bluefield played horrible in that first game.
