Every team at this point has injuries...it's part of the game and I feel bad for the wave players injured but get over it...it happens to every team

There is that sour grapes Spartans fan again! Can’t even give them Wave respect even after getting beat by them. I hear a 2 and 8 season coming to an end for them Spartans, ain’t that right Hokiebird!? Maybe basketball will be better this winter. Shoot maybe ,just maybe, they can beat us Bears as young as we will be. But seriously, if my friend in Narz is telling me the truth, being out 4 normal starters, it will be tough in the late playoff games for them! I wish them all the luck.
Everyone gives teams like Narz, Bland (we couldn’t even field a team this season) Craig, East Mont hard times because “they don’t play nobody”. They play schools that are right there with them at 300 or less students. They can’t cheat the numbers like Wythe county schools or Riverheads. Give the kids some credit. Maybe Narz won’t get Galax, but going 10 - 0 says a lot about that little school. This old Bear is rooting for them to do it.
I like our chances at home against a Radford team without PJ or Marshall. Mance will figure out a way to stop Cox.
It will take 2 “men” to slow down Cox. He was impressive when I watched him. The Green kid is a handful too. Only way Radford loses this game is because they tire out. 27 - 20 Bobcats

If Giles doesn’t beat Narz, they will finish 3 and 7 In my opinion. Radford with the big kid that left Giles coming home following week, then having to travel to Floyd. Tough beginning of season for them Spartans.
And let me say that the Chilhowie band was great. One of the best that I have heard in a long time. Someone please let them know. And.... I was shocked at the speed and aggression of the the DEs for the Wave. But like a previous post, Wave looked tired and Warriors must have saw that after good pep talk at half. Wave did take 3 quarters and Warriors took 1. Hoped to see Wave and Spartans next week but doubt I can make it now. Should be a good one
What a game that was! Exciting right down to the very end. Both teams played exceptionally well and seemed to be about equally matched. The wind wreaked havoc for both sides and made for some interesting punts and passes. Good atmosphere. Only issue is the PA announcer needs to realize his role and not be a cheerleader for his team. Violates VHSL ethics and NASPAA code of conduct. Maybe they don’t know any better in region C?? Fort Chiswell did the same thing in a playoff game a few years ago. But great job Green Wave, take care of Galax in the playoffs please.
Isn’t it a penalty if band plays during a play? Just wondering because I heard a lot of complaints about Chill band doing that. I like it myself
It has been proven that he is a Narrows fan trying to stir the pot for next week. I’m sure he was in attendance tonight wearing his Green Wave #23 jersey.

Depending on how Abingdon looks, I'd argue only one and Ridgeview/Radford is probably a good game.
Graham, who everyone says may be better this season, smacked Radford last year, Bluefield is obviously better, Pulaski is a powerhouse, and Abingdon/RV would be a good match up with Radford I believe. Sixth isn't absurd
Hard to put Pulaski in front of Radford when Radford beat them in their benefit game! So if Pulaski is a “powerhouse”, then Radford is AEP!
Not sure this was about Giles and Narrows? My bad, I thought we were talking about Chilhowie and Narrows this Fri night??? People seem to hate the truth or an objective opinion apparently? Narrows can not hang with an elite 1A opponent and I will remind you of this Fact Sat morning

Narrows doesn't have a chance in this game and would have never scheduled it if Chilhowie was returning more than 3 starters. Nobody hides from competition better than the Green Wave. Chilhowie 35 Narrows 14

Guess I will sit on away side at Ragsdale field Friday. Home side will be packed..... You fans from Chilhowie will be pleased with the away side in Narz. Really good view for a small town football school!
