  1. The 1990s called. They want their offensive style back. The speed should be spread all over the field. The line should have wide splits. Why keep 10 of the 11 inside the hashes and run traps up the middle? There is zero development. Time to go.
  2. For the first time in history, Graham has beaten Bluefield for the 3rd consecutive time. It’s time for the Simon’s to go. Players have left Bluefield to cross the border and go to Graham and old Bluefield greats have their sons at Graham. There has been zero innovation in Bluefield and the Simon’s have taken for granted the athletes they get year after year. Even in WV, they may be competitive, but the Fairmonts and Bridgeports have passed them up
  3. Bluefield would make the title game in WV more frequent with a VA style region play.
  4. I have always wondered if Bluefield or Graham had it “easier” or “harder” when it comes to winning the titles? Are there years when Bluefield won, but would not have if in VA or years Graham would have won in WV. Impossible to know for sure, but have always been curious if others thought about it.
  5. A win is not a guarantee playoff spot for Bluefield. Point Pleasant can win out and jump them. Plus, wins from Richlands, Tazewell, or Oak Hill will help
  6. Bluefield has issues tackling and wideouts blocking. With remaining schedule, could very well end up 5-5 and missing playoffs.
