This. High school football doesn’t have replay or review. Much of the time it is judgment.

A lot of it is judgment. They’ve missed some on us. Missed some on Graham. What I find funny is how Graham people go whining about horns and then bring their own and blow it when Union is lined up to snap. But I am not complaining.

I have seen some missed facemask calls on Graham.

We moved out of Wise County in 2017 and lived in and around Roanoke until 2021 when we moved back into the area, but in the Tri-Cities vicinity in Tennessee. I visit Big Stone on occasion. Mostly to see friends and catch a few Union games. I still haven’t been to most of the new restaurants. I have been to Curklins and I like it. I like what the town of Big Stone has done in the last 6 years. They really stepped up when Walmart left. Would not mind grabbing a bite at Little Mexico.

Heard there was some stuff going down at Gate City HS today. A threat of some sort.

Theoretically there’s a 25% probability of it being Graham vs. Union in the region final. The following scenarios each have a theoretical probability of 25%: Gate City at Union Graham vs Tazewell Gate City vs. Tazewell As far as the most likely scenario based on different factors it will most likely be Union hosting Graham. Tazewell deserves some respect, as does Gate City. Neither Union nor Graham can afford to overlook their opponents. Do that and it could be Gate City vs. Tazewell. I would personally like to see Union vs. Gate City. During the pre-consolidation years Powell Valley vs. Gate City were games for the ages from 01-10. In fact, there were only 3 seasons from 01-10 in which the teams did not meet in the playoffs. Those were 02, 06, and 10.
