  1. Saw something a second ago and now my curiosity has got the best of me. One of my buddies shared a post off Lee football’s Facebook congratulating a bunch of their players for being m7 all district picks, but according to the list on this thread most those kids weren’t selected for anything or they were being listed as being first team when they were second, etc. just curious as to which is accurate? Although I know which one appeared to be more accurate (not their Facebook). Just confused, which doesn’t take alot ha. Almost like they just made their own district team.
  2. Man, rhoton and Chavez can ball. Got the chance To see them play for the first time in person recently and I was impressed. Curious what others think of their chances against TS?
  3. Very true (both posts), lol. Turner needs to go about as bad as Palmer needs to go. Lol. I think we need to have a m7 coach switch up. Let them all take a different team and see how/if things change —they gotta take their coaching staff with them too.
  4. I agree that it's gonna be a tough year for for them, but I'm not counting them out yet. But, I still think they finish strong and above others in M7 besides RV. RV is definitely gonna be a handful for them.
  5. I honestly don't know enough about Battle to say. I didn't mean to leave off central. I think they're right above Lee. And when I say right above Lee it's because it's a close one for me.
  6. RV and U - are the teams to beat in the m7. RV has alot of studs returning, but so does U. Even though U lost several great players, they still have a solid upcoming senior class and many talented underclassmen. Abingdon - losing alot as well, but I feel like they have a solid program overall and will still be competitive. Central - they're losing the majority of their best players. I think Coach Owens does a great job, but it's still going to take a while for this program to recuperate. GC - Losing their best player and several others. Gonna be a tough year for them. It's a toss up for them or Lee in this spot. Lee - They are improving, but not as much as their fans like to act/think. Until they beat someone of some significance, I'm not all that impressed. Another thing I don't understand about LHS is how they leave in their starters when the other team takes their starters out, then their better players pad their stats on someone's backups. The point is, it gives the illusion that they're improving more than they actually are to those who don't pay close attention or know a lot. Having said all that, don't see them finishing that much higher than this year. They might beat GC. Can't decide. JB - I wish they'd improve, but I still don't see it happening anytime soon.
  7. agreed and they've got a good thing going at TS. I have some family there that will be ticked if they move him. not sure how the scott co school board works though, so not sure what will happen in the end. i know what would happen in a couple neighboring counties. just hope they don't mess with one good program that's finally got it's bearings just to try and help another. but i mean, if he wants out of the assistant role, i could understand.
  8. New to the board. I’ve been reading and keeping up for a long time but decided to join finally. 1. Union - Man, Honeycutt has had some bad luck with injuries. Not necessarily a U fan, but you gotta give credit where credit is due to the bears - especially bunch. 2. Abingdon - not having Gibson is gonna hurt them in terms of winning district, but they’ll still be strong 3/4 RV / GC don’t know enough about them to elaborate 5. Lee - Lee has couple good players. Thought they’d do a little better than they have so far though
