I think if they put an expansion team for the Appalachian league in Jonesville, Wise, or Grundy I feel it would help out the local economy in their area a little bit as it would give the people in those areas something else to do.
Now I don't know how big those areas are but I feel it wouldn't hurt those areas one bit. It might help out the local economy. Let me know what you think.
I see that Liberty Bedford was not accepted into the Dogwood district for the upcoming season. I have a different idea that might work. Have Liberty Bedford go to the Three Rivers district. There will be a little bit of travel but they will be in schools closer to their enrollment numbers.
I was thinking you could take Carroll County from the Three Rivers district along with Abington and Pulaski County and create a 3 team district of 3a teams.
The Virginia Independent Schools AA has an 8 man league of course it’s all private schools in the Richmond Hampton roads area
https://www.visfl.org is the website for virginia 8 man football but unfortunitally it hasn't been updated in a few years and I can not find a way to contact them.
It’s time for vhsl to get a 7 team league going it’s a shame some of these kids get screwed over for lack of numbers. I’m sure there’s at least 25 schools who would consider it
They have an eight man football league but the closest team is in lynchburg.
Here is in idea that they used in Alaska that I think would work out in the small towns in virginia. That is combining the schools for football only and not consolidating the schools. And example have Virginia High and John Battle High Co Op their schools together just for football and no other sports. That would mean they would be division 3 or 4 for football. Schools like Bland High could do this with another school I just do no know what school is closest to them.

Should a school be fined for forfeiting a game?
