I just know that whenever someone transfers, there are usually the people that come out saying things like "she isn't that good anyway" or "the team will be better without her" etc. Not that I'm saying you were implying that, but that's just how it goes in situations like this. I feel like she is a D1 talent no question. She plays like a man, no offense to any females on the board. Honestly, I would rather have her on my team over McAmis.

Sorry, but Trivette is best player that has played at Richlands, regardless if she transferred or not. That's like saying Michael Jordan isn't the greatest Chicago Bull of all time because he finished his career in Washington. Just because she transferred doesn't diminish her ability.

Trivette was the best player on the court by far in their games at camp yesterday. They played Honaker and Central. Abingdon was missing a couple of girls, so it will be interesting to see how they play together once they have everyone.

They aren't a team full of transfers. 7 of the 9 starters are Rye Cove girls. So this notion that over half of their roster are transfers is complete BS.

Battle is a scrappy team. Wallace hit a HR in the top of the 7th to go up 4-3. GC held them and was at the top of their lineup to start the bottom of the 7th. Gibson led off with a double and the next batter bunted her over to 3rd and beat out the throw at 1st. Davidson flew out to shallow left field for the fist out. Baker lined out to center field for the second out and Gibson had to go back to tag because she got a huge jump on contact, so she didn't score. They intentionally walked Makayla Bays to load the bases with 2 outs and then Gillenwater struck out to end the game. I don't know if Battle has anything for Tazewell. Compton is a great pitcher, but really needs to tone down the antics.
