  1. [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Another perfect regular season!!! then the playoffs..hahahaha the beavers are coming the beavers are coming [/ QUOTE ] Even though I've got them picked to play in the semis again too, I really believe JM has better odds of getting back to that level. We still have to beat a good Independence team right now, that's priority # 1. As for the Beavers, I think they'll take care of Liberty Harrison, But Tolsia might give them a real test, they certainly took James Monroe to the edge last year, and might get to come down to Lindside again. I'd be just as concerned playing them as I would Bluefield. [/ QUOTE ] James Monroe also may have to get by a very tough and athletic Keyser team in Round 2...

  3. little surprised that Liberty didnt choose Saturday
  4. thanks for all the work you put in tallying the results each week.
  5. [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] You are right GMAN. White can throw the football, he is just restricted a lot of times. The defense did play poorly. Despite all of the turnovers and bad play by the defense WVU only lost by 10. [/ QUOTE ] And actually, you can narrow the loss down to two plays...the fumble return for a TD and the punt return for a TD...take those two plays away and its 34-30 WVU... [/ QUOTE ] Exactly. If someone would have told me before the game that WVU's defense would give up 30 points I would have been very confident as I expected Louisville to be able to move the ball.
  6. [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] I heard Morgantown is a ghost town today and that no one wants to come out. Haha, love it. [/ QUOTE ] Maybe, but us eer fans aren't crying that the refs ripped us off, unlike some so called "Beaver fans" on this board. We lost because of turnovers just like Bluefield has. No excuses here.... [/ QUOTE ] Wow, it's satisfying to know that I've gotten to you so much that you'll resort to personal shots at me. Grow up, kid. High school is over. [/ QUOTE ] Kid??? Like I said I'm not the one doing the crying....

  9. [ QUOTE ] Please don't mention Pat White in the same sentence as Mike Vick. [/ QUOTE ] Why not???
  10. WVU still could win the conference with a Louisville loss. IMO they will lose. A matchup with the ACC champ in the Orange Bowl would be sweet.
  11. As what always decides a game between two closely matched teams...turnovers and penalties
  12. [ QUOTE ] everthing depends on this week and everything will change some [/ QUOTE ] If Bluefield would have had a 10th game this year, against say a .500 AA team, would they have already clinched a playoff spot? Just curious...
  13. We just have to beat louisville don't forget about Pitt and Rutgers. Two very tough games IMO.

  16. I would be surprised if he took that job. IMO it would be a step down and he would play second fiddle to basketball. Also, he is a WVU alum and his family his here. Of course you never know and as we all know money talks.
  17. guess I'm gonna have to take some chances then....

  19. [ QUOTE ] Why is the QB position even a question? Because of one game? If you'll remember, McClanahan took this team to the state title game last year as QB and made leaps and bounds in progress over the season. Why would you begin to question him because of one game? Win as a team and lose as a team. [/ QUOTE ] First off I must say that McClanahan has improved, but I just think a more mobile QB gives you more options. If you remember, he probably still wouldn't be playing, if not for the Powell injury last year. Maybe if Powell was QB, Bluefield could have done even better last year and this year. In closing I'm not quesioning him over ONE game. I have felt Powell should have been QB all along. Alot of other Bluefield fans agree, and that's why I done the poll. I wanted to see what the other fans on this board thought. Of course if that's ok with you?
  20. Who should be the starting QB for Bluefield?
