Your Monroe county WV education at its finest

Ya know, I really 'ain't as insulted by that as you probably think.  Hell, any local government bureaucracy in Monroe Co. West-by-God has more than its share of problems.  I know this from more personal experience and knowledge with that crew better than I care to discuss, at least publicly.

However, as I look in several areas in the Country, and yes, Virginia being among them, I feel better about my own intelligence level all the time.  The farther northeast in Virginia I observe, I really start feeling good about myself!!!!!!!!!

So His Highness, Ralph is a neurosurgeon I understand.  Guess practicing lobotomies on himself was not the best of ideas, explains a few things.

Jim-Bob Justice is probably the shadiest governor WV has had in 30+ years, but at least we aren't called the "Commune-Wealth", not yet anyway, hopefully never.

Hopefully those of y'all across the State line with common sense can get this back under control & turn the tide.  That being said, Governor Jim-Bob's offer to join WV is still on the table I'm sure.  Actually, that offer probably sounded ludicrous 6-7 months ago, did to me to when I heard it; but we live in a different world then we did way back then.

Pretty sure a virus that has killed thousands of people is why.......

So has heart disease, cancer, automobile crashes, STD'S, aircraft crashes, strokes, drug abuse, alcoholism, suicide, etc....., many of the aforementioned precited by legal activities, hmmmm, guess if that can tax coronavirus, it'll lead to a different outlook on the topic

And national governments that succumbed to communist/socialist ideologies, yeah, that number of dead victims be in the hundreds of millions.

Yeah we don’t do this shit in the sports threads. Moving this to the political section where you can say whatever you want and I don’t have to see it in the football section.

Didn't know Virginia was having football this year.  And guess what, politics is the season why. Sad but true. I truly hate it, hope season isn't canceled  in WV to.  Not liking what I said doen't make it less true, wherever you read about it.

  4. So, to all who like to sheepishly follow our faithful leaders in government, and to those who thought that voting at some point was not your problem, I hope your happy with yourselves.  This Covid-19 isn't even 10% as dangerous at the "experts" said it would be back in February (thankfully).

Everyone needs to see the situation for what it is in this country, buffoonery combined with a power grab.

And for all those hiding under the bed (yeah that goes for the ones "afraid" for your family to), well, got a surprise for you; every one's gonna die sometime, and for 99+% of the world's population, Coronavirus WON'T be what sends you to Heaven or Hell.

Oh yeah, for those who think that was too brash, I know a couple people with the Covid right now, in my own family in fact (they social distanced and wore masks to, didn't work).  Guess what, they're gonna make it.  Even if God forbid, they weren't, I'd still feel this way.

Grow a pair, and start fighting those that have been neutering America for years!

  6. Suffice to say the last couple years in Lindside have been ones that you'd like to forget. Not sure what to expect from Coach Mustain in his first year. I haven't gotten to see any of the practices. Anyone know what kind of offense he's planning on running or anything about scrimmages?

  7. If there was any proof needed that JM & Giles need to renew the series from the 90's, it was displayed yesterday. not sure of the total attendance was but it was more than any previous game I remember attending in Pearisburg. Brought back alot of memories. and btw, overtime game between those 2 with no significant problems from fans on either side from what I saw. This series needs to return, and I mean now!!!

  8. For the 3rd time in the past 10 years, the Mavs will have a new fearless leader, not sure whom yet. After the dramatic decay of performance over the past 4 years, suffice to say this does not sadden me.

I haven't heard of any candidates yet, but would like to see Chris Booth from Peterstown Middle try, I've actually wanted to see that for A WHILE!

Time will tell, anyone with info on this, let me know please.

  9. Went to this game for the first time, was kinda played the way I expected, Bluefield's quick strike offense vs Graham's ground & pound game. Two very good teams, both with alot of penaties and mistakes that but both teams in bad spots, Bluefields mistake proved more catostrophic though, no doubt on that. Not sure why Simon went away from running Legget, Graham consitently had problems stopping him the few times he touched the ball. Bluefield's offensive identity was essentially running the QB, it was ALOT like the single wing, IMO they need to find some balance and look at possibly moving Edwards to running back/receiver, wasn't impressed at all the few times he tried to throw. I kinda had a feeling Grahams running game would wear on Bluefield in the second half, and it did in a big way. Graham's easily one of the top 5 teams Bluefield will see this year, and a team that'll probably make some noose late in the year. Bluefield is a playoff caliber team for certain, you just can't make the kinda mistakes they did last night and expect to beat a good team. Great game to watch overall.

  10. Didn't make it to the game but its hard to tell from that if JM is much improved from last year, I know they struggled bad against Pocahontas in the scrimmage. Next week against Summers will give at least some kind of indication, God knows it did last year, unfortunately!

  11. James Monroe typically runs the pro-set, ran the shotgun spread a lil more in recent years. When they have a good line (which regretfully hasn't been this case the last couple of years) they often mix in the wing-t or even the T itself. Defense is usually the 5-2.
