Don't count out Gate City. With Brad, Kegan, Cagle and others PV could really contend. Clintwood could really contend too.

I got a name for that. The Washington District. That's the best I could come up with. I think if they are going to move Va High to anywhere in the Region D they should also bring some closer schools into it and make a new district. Regardless I think they should move a few of the Hogoheegee teams into the region D.

I think the VHSL should put Va High in Hogoheegee. I also think that they should make a new district in the Region D and add a couple of schools.

[/ QUOTE ] The Devils have lost a lot. Not saying they won't be good. They're Gate City. Even if they don't win the district they're still good. Gate City will have a lot of talent this year from what I heard but I also hear that most of them are young. Well the 27th of this month we'll have to see. Too bad we (PV) don't play the tornadoes anymore. Though we haven't been able to really compete with you all the past few years though we could have beaten ya'll in 2001. We lost the last like 10 seconds of the game.

Clintwood and Honaker are a couple of teams that got screwed. If Twin Springs had beaten Rye Cove that would have knocked Rye Cove out of the playoffs and I think that woiuld have put both PV and Honaker in. Correct me if I am wrong. Virginia's playoff system just plain out sucks.

District I said. A district game. I wouldn't go to bluefield for a DISTRICT game. I thought I clarified district in my earlier. Post. I'd go to bluefield for a non district but not for a district.

I've talked to some people.

Some people wonder why Lee High doesn't want to be in SWD. You wouldn't waant to go from Jonesville to Bluefield or Hillsville just to play a district game.
