Carolina played awful the first half of the rutgers game and that is when the guy racked up on yards...something like 150 in the first half...then carolina buckled down on D and almost came back to win. I think that Carolinas defense will be tight all game its just their offense im worried about with a brand new QB and a revamped O-line...look for this to be a close one, UNC could easily upset Tech espicially if they over look them the way you guys are.

It was pretty much a defensive ball game. Bassets defense was super tough and CC didnt get many big plays at all. Our defense was pretty stout too, Not allowing many big plays. Carroll won by doing what we do best...running the ball for 3-4 yards a play and eating up the clock. Huge credit to Basset's defense...they really didnt allow much for us but in the end our defense proved to be a little bit stouter allowing us to win.

I think that this year finishing 5th in the SWD wont be that bad of a thing It's going to be a rough district this year.

I got my info from one of our football players i have no idea where he got it from. But he is a good friend of mine and i believe what he said. But any how Basset is going to be one of our toughest oponents and i know that our boys are fired up and ready to go. Cya in a couple hours.

Man I am pumped for this game! But does anyone have any info on Basset? All i know is their coach said hes not even worried about us becuase we dont have the atheletes he has. This could be true as we arent known for speed or athleticism but there is a lot more to football than just that. But We will see. My prediction for this game: Carroll 32 Basset 24

Hi Trigger...thanks for making my name the name of your post...any exposure is good exposure! But Carroll did play a little sloppier than i would have liked We fumbled 2 or 3 times in the game i can recall of 2...one u guys returned for a TD and the other was at the last moment of the game. And as for us not showing sportsmanship? WoW...just Wow...sure we didnt put in ALL the second string b/c we werent up by 50...the score was 27-12...so why the hell would we put in the second string yet...rather than do that coach put in some of the 10th and 11th graders that he wants to get in some reps so yes some of them but not all of them were out there. Carroll's Defenese DID dominate the game how else do u explain the 0 points that Floyd's offense put up on the board? And for whoever said that Carroll will come back down to Earth after we face a "Real" team...I just have to laugh at that...who ever said we were flying high? Congrats we just beat a medieoker(sp) single A team...thats not much to cheer about. I cant recall a single time that a carroll player or fan got on here and bragged so i really dont see where u were even coming from...and for saying were arent a top team in the SWD! We have almost everyone coming back losing maybe 3 or 4 seniors from last year. Last year were were the only team to score a TD on richlands...and when we lost 6-7 it was a heartbreaker and the guys gave up against Graham...even though i know its in the past and u can wish and hope all u want but i belive last year had we beaten Richlands...maybe in overtime had we made the xp...i think we go on to beat Graham and go undefeated in the SWD finshing #1... Every year SOME people on these forums bash carroll for what ever reason whether it be their refs or saying they shouldnt be in the SWD...just think that this year...having 14 experienced and talented Seniors...this will be the year we surprise a few people... Carroll County 27 Floyd County 12 Carroll really dominated the game...floyd only scored on a Kickoff return and a fumble recovery..other than that Carroll did pretty much what they wanted but was a little sloppy...game was much worse than the score Floyd couldnt get anythign going against Carrolls defense... Carroll is looking really good and hopefully we become less sloppy later in the season =)
