For one you didnt go to the game right? so why would you make any comment on something unless you were there . and as for the game it was a bad ref game from the start but it wasnt HURLEY that was the bully it was honaker , I know beacause I was there and for the coach pulling his players he didnt the game was called because the refs had fouled out all but 3 players from hurley and as anyone with any knowledge of basketball knows you cannot play with just three players so the game was called because of that!! and as far as everyone from hurley acting like there cavemen understand this it wasnt HURLEY who started this mess it was HONAKERS players , not all of them just a few and I will not name any number of any kid Im sure they will read or hear about this and know who they are. but it wont matter what I say or anyone else because as everyone knows hurley has always had a bad name mostly because of people like you who say before they think or know the truth and as for the kid from hurley who got in the fight , she could have walked away but didnt and so could the kid from honaker . but when your standing up from a lose ball and someone kicks you to the ground and you let that go just to get a elbow to the kneck and face your not going to just let that go, so unless you can say that you could dont judge the kid from hurley she wasnt to blame she did let alot of the elbows by the other kid from honaker go all game , not just her but hurleys whole team did!! and here is something else you didnt know hurley only had 5 players show up due to the bad weather, so why would any team go out and start up a bunch of trouble when they know there out numbered from the start? oh let me guess there from hurley and thats what happens over there right? you ever heard of stereo typing? I once had it out at a game with a guy from honaker and he was a well I wont say what I thought of him but it didnt make me belive that everyone from honaker was a smart a$$ . so instead of acting like you know everyone in the world how about getting to know them first and remember one more thing these are all still just kids were talking about ,so cut them some slack as I did the girl from honaker that was such a bad sportsman , but say what you want , you will reap what you soe and that is true anywhere .

You know when you mentioned those 2 guys I thought ? you know these guys not only scores a 1000 points but done it without a 3 point line as did most of the guys I have mentioned as well, just think of all of the players from the 80' that have been in the 1000 point club before the 3 point line was in , and they are hardly ever talked about on here. I guess mostly because most of these guys that are doing the talking were only a thought or a stain in there daddy's paints.lol

Harold Horn is the oldest coach and has the most wins than anyone left coaching in the bdd and he gets know breaks at all I watched a home game against phelps and I swear you would have thought he was the visiting team with all the lam calling. and for veteran players thats just dumb to say this isn't the nba so please dont make it sound like it with ( veteran player and coach get a little more leeway than most other players and teams) come on dude! think about what your saying , one minute you guys say that TV does'nt get any special treatment the next you guys say you do because your vets! lmao. Let me lay it down to you and all else that think your the greatest ball program ever . tradition starts with PRIDE and if all you have to be proud of is winning games that are only one by help from the refs well maybe you have alot to be proud of! And as for the refs these days there about as bad as any blind one you can find on the street , they have know honor for this great game nore do they have a love it takes to do the job right, so lets be honest do you think TV has deserved eery close win they have won? that the worked harder during the game to pull out the win? or was it just good old veteran leadership lol, or did the refs just say hey its TV lets give a break there suppose to win right!!!!?

For one the bdd is alot older than you kid! second of all there atleast 10 if not more that played during these time frame alot better than josh and they didnt get the help from the refs that he does. yea I know you think Im crying , but if it bothers you for me to say this then it must have some truth to it. you can go back to the early 90's or the late 80's and find alot better than josh, have you ever heard of john potter? left handed and you could by know means stop him one on one alex clevinger was another either one of these guys would hold smith to single points . and if you dont think so then you have never seen them play . I have and I have seen alot more in my day you can bank on it!

upset when Honaker was running out the clock! 2:00 minutes on the game clock when honaker takes over ,4 downs =? even if you take into count a delay inthe ball reset HURLEY should have had atleast 20 seconds on the clock.

This goes out to all the fred fans and any other person that think that he's a great coach . ray charles could coach these girls ! I mean come on a couple of these girls could start at about any varsity team around and if they where in WVA,or KY. they would be a starter on the varsity . now before the cry babies start there crap about ,he's a great coach, he's won X number of games by X number of points. he's been here and there . shshshsh!!! and listen heres a secret a coach is only as good as his players know matter what offence he runs and know matter what he teaches ! if you dont have the talent you look just like any other coach and you can not win without talent know mater what it has never been done from the time basketball has beeen played with a peach basket untill now and it wont ever be, And with game getting more and more complex with hidden man 3-2 zones and everything more of a motion game you have got to have a team like fred has had given to him I mean before you start your bashing ask yourself how many teams has fred had that hasnt had talent and would he have took the job if say these girls where not even average players? I played ball in high school and beyond and can tell you this there has never been a (coach )win a state championship, he only cuts down one string of the net the players .... they cut the rest , I can name atleast 7 more coaches that are far better than ole fred but you would not know them because you havent heard of them beacuse they havent ever had a great team that is allways talked about , for you that may know this this is for those that dont coahes are TEACHERS thats all they are ,during the game they just keep giving there players quizes on what they know it just so happens that freds class room is full of top 10 students and that makes it so much easier.

Love of the game pushes one to be better, but the hate of losing will drive the average player insain to the point of doing just about anything to win including not takeing anyone for granted!! know matter how bad a team seems on paper or by record there is allways a game where any team can surprize and upset the best teams. So REBELS get on your horses and ride stomping anything in your path from the time the wistles blow untill the 4th quarter horn ends the game ,and start a new streak of wins including the BDD crown good luck and see ya at the game....

Come on guys the D sets HURLEY PLAYED would have worked if only the tackle in the backfield I mean there were so many times I quit counting that we had a back for a lose and just didnt hold on to him , and for the 4th and inches by all means that should have went to 22 or 21 !!!! bad call by the coaches and the ball wasn't a fumbled snap #2 just made a bad read on his run but he is a first year starter but is I think one of the best QB in th BDD AND I WOULD STILL PUT HIM BEHIND THE CENTER again and again. Did you guys know that reagle had like 100 yards rusinhg in the 3rd alone and didnt even hardly touch the ball in the 4th bad coaching? who knows , this game started off bad with a flag and ended the same Hurley cant say to much even though the refs were all but amatures at what they tried to do but Hurley still let the sideline run backs kill them both on special teams and the outside linebackers ,its one of those games that you learn from if you as a player want to or can be a back breaker if you let its all in how you prepare your mind and body so good luck to east ridge the rest of the season and see ya next year good job REBELS but as the old saying goes because someone says your going to win or lose dosent mean you will thats why they play the game!!!!!!!! keep you head up .

LOL now thats is funny for anybody to say that TV isnt that good is so dumb if they have seen them play and if they know anything about basketball these onlookers would see that this is the best team that TV has had and will have for a long long time with the addition of goodman this makes TV the deepest team in this area if not the state (single A) I dont see any BDD team getting as close as 17 points to TV in any game . keep up the good hard work TV its games like oakhill that turns the great into the best after all that is why we fall ,so that we may show the rest of the state how we get back up. RICK did a good job while at council but you have got to think aboutit like this basketball is the only sport they have other than baseball so they have alot of kids that work on nothing but basketball skills year around and he has had some of the best talented kids to play in the bdd for years starting with the rasnake boys and nuckles ,jackson,goodman I mean the list could go on but he does deserve credit were it is due he done what other coaches in the area couldnt do with this much talent on one team and that is win he knows how to get these boys to play together as a team and maybe that is what it is going to take for TV to become a champion after all they have 3 boys that are all going for there 1000 points this year and there isnt going to be enuff basketballs to go around if these guys all want to score there 1000th point. This will be there year to shine or bust they have it all in there own hands if they want to be va. state champions then they will forget all about the points and just go for the wins because at the end of a long season thats all that matters.

MOORE has the title of head coach? well it seems to me that he done pretty darn good last year without goodman and its not just a title he has your attention on the floor while at practice just because that goodman is there dosnt mean that he is going to run the show as coach. and dosnt he have a pretty good asst. in derek vandyke I think is his name couldnt he do as good of a job also he did fill in 1 or 2 times last year for coach MOORE.

congrats to haysi keep it up and maybe you guys can bring home the big one this year you guys have gotten the speed and depth and I wrote earlier that haysi was about 2 touchdowns better than honaker and you proved my point great job good luck to you guys the rest of the way.

Baker will be in a grundy uniform this year I talked to theo yesterday and he said that Baker will be in shape for the season but I dont realy think he should be that much of a big part of grundys offence unless he wants to run the floor alot because that is were grundys bread is butterd a fast up beat tempo up and down the floor they have the speed and the back court is in my oppinion the best in SWD with theo at point guard this grundy team has everything to prove this year even with new coach the should be ok. I am from hurley but I cant wait to see how the former players from hurley can do in there last year on the varsity hardwoods. In all the schools in this erea who do you guys think is the best at what they do and also give asst.coaches names also that you think should be the #1 choice at there school instead of the asst. if any ?

Guys I know heath estep was a good player as far as jummping ability and so-so defence but the all around player on that team was robbie cline if he hadnt broke his arm he would have eaisly had his 1000 points and he only missed by a very few points and if anyone that has played with robbie or against him they would know that he is unselfesh also that isnt the story with heath. and what about NELL RASNAKE he played simi pro ball and he has got to be one of the best ball handlers that i have ever played against. and john justus wasnt bad either he played in 96 i think .

APPY lost so they should be coming to the cliff and a shocker is that JI BURTON lost as well so could be some movin in the ranks of the top spots not how much of a difference it will make.

It wasnt a game that was just for fun last nite when HURLEY and TWINVALLEY meet it looked as thoe HURLEY was just going to lay down and give TWINVALLEY the 3rd win of this season HURLEY may have won on the score board but TWINVALLEY won on paper and on the hustle end of the game sure there were a couple of guys for HURLEY that played well but the others that should have just made this game alot easier for there defence realy let the guard down thinking that they were going to have a walk in the park. I know that they have been someone on here talking smak about the coaching staff at TV but they couldnt say anything about what went on last nite both teams had turnovers and made misstakes but didnt give up on the defence side of the ball,Im not sure if I have had more fun as a fan stand point watching a game I dont know what TV looked like in there other games but they were in every way ready to play HURLEY and did not back down with there big man on the line doing what he had braged he would do and that was control his side of the ball and for his running back to get his yards he had to but by far there biggest pluse all nite was the play of wyatt justus #48 will stand out in alot of minds from that game as he was like a man on a mission he had to have over200 yrds it was like first down first down, touch down he is a tuff running back but he does have alot more bolcking up front than shane justice from HURELY does and it showed in the one TD that shane scored on the TV sideline after a TV player nocked him back he spins out of 1or2 more tackles and scampers about 40 yrds for a TD wyatt had holes you could drive a truck threw great job to the TV o-line dont worrie about what the papers say you guys are winners in my eyes and to be honest if the players that give up on you guys and left the team for there own reason(basketball) you guys could have made this a different out come. Congrat goes to SHANE JUSTICE, NATHAN JUSTUS,DUCK,MAY.ALEX,AND ISSIAC you guys made this season worth every drive to watch you play IM proud that you guys have brought the pride back to the cliff and the sportsmanship you all show is something that i will allways remeber about this 2005 team and the way you guys play unselfesh I just wish that I had this game on tape so I could look back from time to time and be reminded that its not the size of the dog in the fight its the size of the fight in the dog. now lets gettem in the playoffs (LIFES TO SHORT TO JUST PLAY SO PLAY HARD!!!!!!!!!!!!)LOVE THOSE REBELS!!!!!!!!!!!

YA your wright but if you change the momentum of a game then so goes the players spirts and that wasnt the only play either and we could stay on here all day and nite and you still arent going to admit that HONAKER caught every break in the world I mean it was senior nite there were in no way that they were going to lose to a small school like HURLEY and the refs made that obvious and that first play that he talked about he didnt say anything about the flag that was picked up on the HONAKER sideline by the ref after he threw it then walked back up picked it up off the ground and didnt even give a reason to why he picked it up and he didnt even wave it off he knew that it was a forward pass pass the line of scrimage and he saw his knee touch down then threw the flag then after the player started up the field that caught the forward pass the ref picks up the flag. Getting a break here and there for a school the size of HURLEY is what they need to play with schools the size of HONAKER or HAYSI and another thing that realy stood out in watching HONAKER play there in no way as good as HAYSI not putting you guys down and i didnt get to watch you guys play each other and the way you beat HURLEY has nothing to do with the way that HAYSI did but from what I saw last nite you guys have a good line also but you only have one big play maker (BOSTIC)he is one of the best I have seen in a while at running the busted plays in and out hes quick lol but HAYSI unlike HONAKER has many on there sideline that can do this.( example) at how good they are they played us at home and layed it to us and didnt even try to and with the excpetion of the one ref it was a pretty fair called game last week not like last nite when you saw at least three bad refs but all this doesnt matter HONAKER is the BDD CHAMPS and congrats to you guys for that but now you have got to look to the playoffs and worrie if the other tigers be clawing at another shot or will they get screwed out of that shot also and that is rematch that I would pay good money to watch good luck to HONAKER ,HAYSI and all the rest in the area but I still think that HAYSI has a better TEAM lmao just my thoughts and oppinion CONGRATS AGAIN HEATH MILLER would be proud lol( LIFES TO SHORT TO JUST PLAY SO PLAY HARD !!!!!!!!!!) I dont know if anyone else can recall this but when HURLEY played HAYSI in 1996 GREG TESTER threw his helmet across the field at HURLEYS bench and he didnt sit out a game, just a half of football just to refresh your memory thats the game that HAYSIS coach colley wouldnt let his team help push the ambulance that had gotten stuck it was carring a HURLEY player it was very muddy that nite the game ended up 7-6 HAYSI won the bdd title that nite. COACH HALL WAS HIS COACH THEN!
