  1. I heard from some very good sources that number 5s chin strap broke clean in half
  2. Richlands Scoring Defense- 90 points, 7.5 points/game Grahams Scoring Defense- 167 points, 13.92 points/game
  3. I have a question and this is not just to stir up trouble although some people might take it the wrong way but, why does Bluefield have trouble year in and year out getting a 10th game, one year they had to play Graham twice, then the series against Grundy seemed to come at the last minute, why is it that Bluefield can't get 10 games?
  4. "I think it would be a good game, but VT would have to have a great day offensively to beat WVU. VT has a great defense, but WVU would still put up 20 on them." This quote made for my biggest laugh of the day, WVU didnt put up 20 points on South Flordia why would they be able to against the number 1 ranked defense in the country.
  5. I wish we could play some of the New River Valley teams, Cburg, Pulaski, Hidden Valley would all be a great series, or even move into the Tennessee teams
  6. I am running the spread so I dont need a full back or a tightend to much QB- McCracken RB- Jennings WR- Fuller, Arms, Mcdaniels, Brown OL- McKnight, Angle, Damon, Fletcher, Adams possibly not really sure about that 5th lineman DL- McKnight, Angle, Chase Fuller when healthy LB- Clayborne, Riddle, Browles DB- Austin Fuller, Simmons, McDaniels, Carper P- Arms K- Rasnake KR- Jennings, Rasnake
  7. Gotta have McKnight on those lines somewhere, Jennings and Rasnake both back deep, Simmons in that Dbackfield over sayers
  8. I really have no experience with the WV playoffs, 1st Question) is it just like Virginia in that there are 16 teams except no regionals only the top 16 and 2nd Question) at what round are all the games played at Wheeling is it the finals or the semifinals?
  9. That first hit wasn't Clayborne was it, it was Wicks wasn't it
  10. If Counsil is going to be bused over there I think that Haysi and Honaker will pick up a majority of those kids not the new Grundy/Buchanan County school
  11. [ QUOTE ] 89 GRAHAM Team destroys any local team past or present IMHO. HugeHogMollys up front. Tony (prior to injury) unstoppable offense. Defense? Need I even go into that? 8th nationally. You know how many High Schools are in the nation in AA? Why could you not predict the outcome of any local team against them? Graham by 20 minimum. [/ QUOTE ] Isn't Salem a local team? I predict that they not only would have played within 20 points of them but would have in fact beat them, because they did.
  12. It would have beaten the 2004 team, and it would have beaten the 2001 team very badly, as far as 92 who knows its a totally different time and impossible to compare the two.
  13. I really don't think they were bigger stronger and faster, football evolves on all levels and players get consistently faster and stronger year after year, its common knowledge that offseason training programs get better ever year... As far as competition goes Jeremey McCommons faced the toughest competition with Thomas Jones, Jake Houseright, Chad Beasley, Yabrinnel Isabelle, Luke Owens all playing against him
  14. Another reason that Brannon had so many and that Caleb won't catch him is the carrys Brannon got. In the game against Salem Brannon carried the ball 47 times a playoff record still to this day, Caleb is sharing the backfield with the greatest QB in school history he doesnt have to carry the ball 50 times in a game.
  15. Breedings 156 points came in 14 games, regular season plus playoffs, Caleb has tied that in 8.

    DBs

Hands down the best Defensive Back in the district is DJ Simmons
  17. Its an upset but I dont really think its that much of a shocker, Tazewell, Carroll and Abingdon all seem to be about the same level this year. The games between all of them have been really close, The Tazewell Carroll County game was alot closer than even the 7 point scoreboard difference said and Abingdon played Tazewell in a 3 point game.
  18. Jennings 3 yard Touchdown run 20-0, 3:24 remaining 1st q
  19. Jennings 65 yard TD run 6:54 remaining 1st quarter 13-0
  20. Richlands up 6-0 with 7:30 to go first quarter, Jennings 20 yard run
  21. Yeah going through the same mold of FB-TE I believe that Jarrett Fergusan was a former walk on at tech who made it big, I think the reason that some FBs are able to do it is that most schools dont recruit a FB its difficult to get a read on their stats because a lot of them have no stats. But in the same way alot of recruited LBs and TBs move to full back
  22. I think the only local who started out as a walk on who made it big is Jeff King- Pulaski- VA Tech- Carolina Panthers, correct me if I am wrong but I think he started out as a walk on
