  1. With the talent they had last year and didn't win, I wouldn't expect much this year.
  2. That is great to hear that these girls are working hard, no doubt it will pay off in the long run. Someone said that these girls could win the state, that is an awful big statement considering the RHS girls haven't even won a regional game since about 1988 to my best memory.
  3. It is almost impossible to get a good coach who is 1)dedicated to one sport 2)qualified to teach/coach in tazewell county 3)someone who wont put up with parents trying to run his/her team 4)someone that makes the administration happy by not having complaints. Alot of coaches don't live/eat/sleep for thier sport, they do it for a litttle and I mean a little extra income. Do these kids need a coach to take them to a camp? Can they not go to individual camps and work on their indv. skills?? Do they attend open gyms? Are they weight lifting to improve themselves? Good attitudes and hard work are contagious, so are the ones that down a coach or player. Benjamin Franklin "Either we all hang together else we all hang seperately"
  4. 5. The girls will be having a bake sale tomorrow, May 3, at Walmart in Richlands. The sale will start at 10:30 and will end at 4:00. Please come by and support these young ladies.
  6. Big N little o. That is what I think.
  7. There will be a volleyball tournament at Southwest Virginia Community College on March 22 from 10am-5pm. This tournament will be ran by Team Virginia, a group of local players that will be playing in Hawaii this summer. The cost is $150 per team (8 person limit). We will have two divisions:one will be all females and the other will consist of males and/or females. Registration must be completed by March 15. Call (276)963-6479 to register your team.
  8. She may think that you are saying that she is number one or maybe it is thought of as a traditional greeting from competitors. I really don't know what would be going on in her mind???????
  9. The AD dont care about anything but looking good herself, did you see on their website where she had volunteered to be a secretary for the NCCAA. She acted like this was a big deal but it was a ploy to divert attention away from her pitiful record as a coach. If they want to increase enrollment, get an AD that cares about things other than herself!
  10. How many new coaches have been at Bluefield in the past couple of years? It seems that they have had a big turn over.
  11. Is it illegal for one team to send someone and film other playoff teams? I didn't know if this was against the rules or not!
  12. That is prety stupid, too think that only one coach gets to vote on them. Don't the other coaches vote as well? I guess Brintle's vote is the only one that counts.
