Tazewell Tournament sux... Tazewell always plays single A competition....they'll never be any better until they play some competition. Last year they only played one team and they probably would've been beaten by Floyd and decided that the weather suddenly got too bad after playing in it all day and cancelled that one...

Earlier in the season, somebody said that Floyd would be playing Carroll's J.V.? What's going on? Also, I have heard that Floyd will play Carroll's J.V. in one contest... is that true? Somebody please tell me what's going on, because I didn't even see Floyd on Carroll's schedule.

Radford kicked your butts more often than not, and they're single A. How many times did you beat them? 1? That's all I can remember.

no trash dude, just stating facts. I've seen the teams in your pitiful district. You can talk all the smack you want about how good you are, but truth is, if you do make it out of your weak district, you will be crushed in the regional tournament by the likes of Martinsville or Magna Vista. Don't even get me started about what Blacksburg or Byrd or Salem would do to your sorry hides.

IF and that's a big IF... Graham somehow makes it to Regionals....that's where it will end and they will be destroyed by whoever they play. I still say GW by 3 goals when they play....and that's a single A team!

They have 18 games scheduled? How are they going to correct that? Are they going to drop anybody? Can somebody shed some light on this?

how many guys have to be moved around for one injury?? THat doesn't make a lot of sense....

I agree, CBurg is weak in the BRD...but they are just as good or better than Graham. I've seen both teams play and I know this for a fact. Graham has a cake schedule compared to CBurg who plays Blacksburg, Salem, William Byrd...etc... I'd like to see Graham play C'Burg and then say how weak they are. Anyway, I think the jury is still out on Graham. It's definitely out on Giles, after the shalacking they took at George Wythe....

No offense to Graham, but Giles sux. George Wythe beat them 8-2 on tuesday and then George Wythe turned around and lost to Christiansburg 4-0. Are you sure Giles looked good? I kinda doubt it...

Please post results of Giles scrimmage. In particular tell me how Giles looks please, compared to last year's Giles team, if you can do that...

usually Graham gets whipped by single A Radford every time they play them. Last year, a Floyd team loaded with Freshmen and sophomores gave them a hard time. Floyd was practically a J.V. team. And Floyd usually finishes 3rd or 4th in their single A district... Dynasty? I think not.

Any info on how good these teams will be? What will they have returning.... etc... Any info will be appreciated... thanks.

I can tell you how many hold-backs there were on theat 89 Graham team...."zero"... I knew most of the kids on that team!!!

Thanks for your input, but I wanted to make a new thread about the style of play of the two districts. I didn't want to read 100 posts to see comments about the style of play. If I want to make a new thread, I'll make a new thread, thanks anyway. Maybe I should just stick to the Virginia Preps Board where I'm able to do that.

post wasn't directed at you....If you read through the threads, maybe you'll see what I was implying. Some Liberty fans were implying that Liberty and the rest of the seminole district had a tougher schedule than the SWD and Liberty had played tougher competition than Richlands...and mentioned Bassett... anyway, I'm on your side, don't bite my head off. I simply hit reply to a post that I wanted to respond to, I don't have the time or energy to go through all the posts and point out which one it was...hope that answered your question.

Bassett??? you've got to be kidding me.... I don't recall Bassett EVER beating a SouthWest District team. I hope you keep thinking that Seminole teams are that much better and your schedule is that much tougher. You'll see when you make the trip and get smacked in the mouth. Do you forget just a couple years back....Graham 52....Liberty 14....and it could've been much much worse, if not for the nearly 150 yards in penalties against Graham...

Richlands needs to play SouthWest Virginia style football, that is hard-nosed and physical. Liberty has the size and athleticism to match Richlands, what they lack however is that good old fashioned hard-nosed style of football. Richlands needs to hit em and hit em hard and make them wonder why they even stepped off of the bus. I think Richlands should play with confidence and not be nervous and I think you'll see a Richlands victory. Good luck tornadoes, I'll say Richlands 35....Liberty 14..

Graham had several key personnel out in the first contest, particularly on the line, which made Graham's qb run for his life and limited blocking for the RB's. I think this time around it'll be a close contest. Graham definitely has the big play capability now that everyone is healthy.
