  1. First of all I am not Mark Palmer. I know Mark well, but I am not him. He doesn't post on here. Second of all, you need to quit trying to work on that Tiger puzzle and put the corn flakes back in the box, you've spent far too much time on that. Thirdly, if you spent your time wisely, you would stay off this board and try to figure out how to improve that 1-29 record you have at Twin Valley over the last three years. Finally, when you have won more than one game versus a non-kentucky or west virginia team, holler back at us.
  2. That drum beat sure is non-rythmic, but hey I'm not one to try to oppress the mentally afflicted. You just keep on marching lil buddy. It might be a different drum but we cherish diversity around here. Make sure you wear your leather helmet case you trip and fall again.
  3. He knows exactly what he is up against. I think it is interesting that PH used to beat Holston all the time, and people used to say the same things about Holston not being a football school. But you yourself say that Matlock "put a stop to that" which totally contradicts what you mean by your post. If matlock can come in and clean up Holston, Palmer can come in and do the same to PH. It's funny how folks who have not coached or who have not coached in schools like st paul, ervinton or twin valley think that palmer or other coaches have no idea what it's like to coach in tough situations. Listen, PH can be no worse than the situation at Ervinton or St Paul. Just can't be. I think you have a personal bias against Palmer. What happen? He steal your girlfriend?
  4. Politics won out in that case. Some big donors wanted the Turner name.
  5. both of those quotes were from wyatt though.
  6. I don't get it. What does northwood's coach have to do with it?
  7. Don't worry about cavdaddy. I have made some phone calls and printed off the topic. I know exactly who he is and I have a pretty solid case against him. He knows it too. I bet he wanted to take it back as soon as he said it. No . . . . . I bet he didn't. Too much pride. But he thinks he knows me. He doesn't. I know that for a fact. Next game he calls that I may be a part of might be his last. Especially if he makes any questionable calls. And even if he doesn't, with that threat he made, all I would have to do is accuse him and he would be washed up. Tisk, Tisk, Tisk. Too bad ol' buddy. Maybe they will let you be a part of the chain gang over at Holston. I will call Matlock and ask him for you if you want. Nothing wrong with biased chain gangers, huh?
  8. I agree about Haysi but at least there is a town lol. Ervinton is just a school right in the middle of a bunch of trees and a sewage facility haha
  9. It's a fact that Bush had twice the coalition support for going into Iraq than Obama has for Lybia. I heard on Bill Bennett this morning a former general (and I can't remember his name, old age haha) talk about how Afghanistan and Lybia are impossible missions because of the desparity between the American 21st century culture we live in versus the 9th century tribal/Islamic culture they live in. It just won't work and I think he's right. Afghanistan is a failure.
  10. We need to trash the current system and start over. Actually, we need to go back and follow the Constitution to the letter. Most of our representatives don't even know what the constitution even says, much less what it means.
  11. Cool. They said go ahead and print that off. So I did before you could go back and edit it. Sorry dude. They are always looking for crunch bunch refs. . . . but I don't know if they would even take a ref down there that is known for throwing games. Oh well. Sometimes our words "come back and bite us"
  12. Wow. I wonder what the officials association you might belong to would think about you threatening someone with throwing a game. Very professional. Hmmmmm . . . wonder what would happen to you. Guess maybe we will find out. Make some phone calls.
  13. That's not hypocritical is it? You come on here busting everyone's stones and bad mouthing whoever you want and when someone starts giving it back to you the whining and threats start. I don't care who you know or who you think you know or what you think you know. You started this thread. And guess what? I have just as much right to make my "comments" as you do. Last thing, if defending my friend from unfounded and untoward comments comes back to "bite me" then so be it. But I doubt that will happen because everyone that knows you also knows that you live in your own little world. Still want to be a space cadet? Couldn't get into coaching so you became a ref? You know the old saying "those who can - coach. Those who can't - become refs."
  14. I couldn't coach a team if our liberty was at stake? That's an awesome analogy man. Hurt my feelings real bad. I don't know if I will ever be able to face another day. You think you know me, you don't. Sorry.
  15. Several years of that. makes a big difference at a school like Pound.
  16. It would be challenge for sure.
  17. Yeah seems like he was #22 or something but was a great back. People on this board need to take note: Redtiger played for one of the best coaches in the area James Colley. He recognizes good coaching. Like him personally or not, Mark Palmer is a good coach. Plain and simple. You can't do what he has done at the two smallest football playing schools in Virginia if you are not a good coach. The struggles of a small school football program, especially in areas like st. paul, ervinton, oakwood, northwood, clinchport, etc. where the kids are so spread out and rural are very difficult to overcome.
  18. Well if you think that is the only difference you are a fool. How about they are 3 times the size of St. Paul, AND since you are on maxpreps check out the fact that St. Paul non district schedule has also included JI Burton, Appy and Holston. Also Patrick Henry when they were decent AND Clintwood for a few years. So get your stats going again and come back with something that has some meat to it. No, wait, nevermind. Don't go and hurt yourself with all that thinkin' your doin.
  19. And if Palmer is the PH coach, why does it matter how St. Paul would fair against those teams you listed? You don't make sense there coach.
  20. Impressive stats. You know a whole lot about Mark Palmer and what he has done. Only thing you FAIL to see is that ALL of those wins are against schools and teams that are LARGER than St Paul. And you don't think that St. Paul has had trouble fielding teams? All things considered, I would take 29-42 with a couple of playoff apperances rather than 1-29 with that one win coming against a WEAK Montcalm team. I'm just sayin . . . Also, let's compare that with another coach, oh let's just pick BI Salyers. Respected and revered. What has been his records in the SAME time span? JJ Kelly 04 0-10 05 1-9 06 4-6 07 5-5 08 7-4 09 8-3 10 7-3 32-40 hmmmmm. Not a huge difference there, huh?
  21. What do you think? Who will get it?
  22. I remember watching a game TV's first or second year when they had Haysi on the ropes and haysi eventually came out with a 23-22 win or something like that.
  23. CLintwood had 4 starters from LB on their team this year. The threat of school closure has affected them more than any other school.
