T-bone Lewis, Red Clear and that crew are about the sorriest refs I ever saw. I do not know if they are still refereeing or not? Salt Shaker are you from Saltville? Did you play for the Shakers? If so when?

Northwood is a small Region C, Division 1, Hogoheegee District school and has some small players but are well coached. George Wythe is a large Region C Division 2 Hogoheegee District school and truth be known, probable should be AA. Just for that fact I'd like to see Northwood win. Plus, I don't think Northwood has ever beaten GW? NW runs the old Giles County Single wing. They run the ball well and are able to take time off of the clock thus shorting the game and keeping the ball out of the other team’s hands. They beat PH Glade (another large Hogo School) last week pretty easily, and they gave Marion (AA) all they wanted earlier this season until the 4th qt.

All 3 teams are Region D. Honaker and Clintwood are division 2. Rye Cove is Division 1. Rye Cove had a good run a few years ago but always had trouble against J.I. Burton and/or Appalachia in the playoffs.

Sometimes teams play each other in the same location twice in a row because one of them is having a scheduling conflict. For example: Most teams play 5 home and 5 away. With a two year contract between teams, 6 home and 4 away would be good the first year but I would think it would sort of suck the next year. This may have been the case here? I think most coaches and Ads are willing to help each other out in these situations. You could always call your school's AD and ask him for a schedule.

almost all schools are on a 2 year contract. so if this is not the year to renew contracts, they will probable have the same schedule as last year, except home and away would change of course.
