Blues cut it to 2 with 1:05 and call time.

Yeah. That would be the last time for sure. I don't think they'll win the region, but I do think they have the potential to qualify for the state tournament.

One issue I see is that they cross bracket. So if Virginia High wins, they won't play the Graham/Union winner, they would play the Ridgeview/Marion winner. And same for GC, they'll play the winner of Graham/Union.

Will be interesting to see how far they go in the regional playoffs. I'm assuming they should cruise on through the SWD tournament. Does anyone know how the M7 is shaping out on the girls' side? Who would be the likely 4 seed that Richlands would have to play in the opening game?

Ah. That is so sad. I'm sure it's not the easiest thing to pull off -- but those kids deserve it, too.
