  4. Love that band and song. Still to this day the best all around concert I've ever been to. Great music, they sounded better live than on cd, and their pyro and stage show was amazing. Plus, seeing it in The Garden didn't hurt. :)
  5. I have been at work since 1.....at least I get off at 11. But I still won't get home till 12ish.
  6. I consider GW to be a SWVA school. I consider the end of SWVA to be where 81 and 77 split at exit 77.
  7. Just a fun little discussion. What are your top five favorite songs that you love?? Here's mine: 5- Sad But True- Metallica Thanks to BigD for getting me into Metallica at a very young age. We used to jam some Metallica on the way to and fro' VT Football games circa 02-05. Really jumpstarted my love for Tallica as well as VT. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l8BRbM52gpc 4-Helter Skelter- The Beatles My all time favorite Beatles song. This song is so completely different from any other song in the Beatles tracklisting. And the only reason it is so heavy, is becaus McCartney wanted to upstage The Who, who had been quoted as saying that "I Can See For Miles" was the heaviest song ever at the time. Great song, even if the lyrics are about a slide... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aMfkVGCU_BA 3- Come As You Are- Nirvana What's not to like about this song?? The opening guitar riff just moves me for some reason. Easily my favorite Nirvana song by a long shot. And I'm sure BigD will shoot me down for it. ;) 2- Shake Me Like A Monkey- Dave Matthews Band Carter Beuford, the drummer of DMB, is one of my heros. And his drumming is some of the most technical I've ever seen. The horns on this song compliment everything about this groovy little ditty. And of course Daves lyrics and delivery are like no other. 1- Critical Acclaim- Avenged Sevenfold My favorite song by my favorite band. Of course it's going to be number 1, right?? Lol. This is the song that A7X have used as their opener since the album came out in 07, and it's been my favorite ever since. Something about the organ intro, along with the lyrics backing our troops and hating on the people who don't support them, and the vocals from the The Rev (drummer, deceased) during the chorus, all make this my favorite song of all time. It's been played over 350 times on my iTunes, and the next closest is in the 100s. (BTW, get to see them for the 13th time on Tuesday in Pikeville with VIP passes. Pumped doesn't even begin to describe it.) Album: Live:
  8. 24 hours, 37 minutes
  9. Amazing article!!!!!!
  10. 1 Day, 3 hours, 15 minutes....
  11. Quite an inspiring young man. Really love his story. And I look forward to hopefully seeing him in some action tomorrow night!!
  12. Yes to the first part!! Boo for the second part (Cowboys).
  13. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!! Hope it's a wonderful day for all.
  14. You'll change your tune by the time you get off tomorrow. Lol.
  15. That's me right there. Lol.
  16. I think starting Friday, I'm going to start riding my bike at least 2 miles a morning. As well as cut back on my servings, and try to get a few power snacks in (some sort of healthy snack bar) when I can't eat. I already drink a lot of water, so thats not a real problem. So we will see how this goes.
  17. I went on the trip to Walmart last year jsut to see what it was like. At 4 am, there were people lined all the way around the entire store. You couldn't move. Even for this area, it's extremely bad.
  18. I have no idea what to do in a Gym or weightroom. And I have pretty much no friends that work anything like the same schedule that I do. And doing it with someone is much more enjoyable, and would make it worthwhile.
  19. I voted Luck, though I think RGIII should get it.
  20. I actually don't eat McDonalds all that much. The most is usually twice a week. Maybe more if I'm going out of town on a trip or something special like that. While I do love grilled chicken, I absolutely hate salads. The smell of Ranch dressing alone makes me puke buckets. And that fact alone makes me hate salads. I can't even look at one without thinking of Ranch. (Plus I don't like pretty much every vegetable known to man). I've thought about that no carb diet. Our drummer went on it for 3 weeks in the summer, and dropped 20-25 lbs. But he said it's hard to keep that one up, since you can't really have anything to eat. So I really don't know what to do.
  21. Ok. So I was looking back to some older pictures of me (high school years) and it really hit me just how much weight I've gained. That coupled with the fact that by the time I got to my seats at the VT/UNC game, I was so out of breath it wasn't funny. So I'd like to get back to the size I was in high school (70-90 lbs lighter). I don't eat that much, which perplexes me more than anything. I usually eat a meal before I head to work at 1 pm, then I don't eat a full meal again until the next day. I do snack on a bag of chips or so at a vending machine usually every other day or so. So my body has gotten in this rhythm of only eating once a day. Also, my schedule is not really condusive to a gym membership, as I work 2-1 and I'm gone from 1pm-2am with the commute. So by the time I wind down and get into bed at 3, I usually wake back up at 11 and have to leave by 1. So I don't have much spare time. I was wondering if you guys have any tips or tricks that can help me. I'm starting to get more and more scared by my size. Any tips would be appreciated.
  22. Ahh. I love stats. Especially when they are in our favor. Lol
  23. ^^^This^^^ As most have said on here, keep winning, and things will fall into place. Worry about UVA first. Then Clemson (if applicable). Then the bowl game opponent. In that order.
  24. Ahh. Shame man. Lol
  25. I'm so confused. Lol. What picture? The one under my posts?
