  1. [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] WVNS-59 out of Ghent has highlights of this game on their website and had Westside winning 14-13... [/ QUOTE ] can you post the WVNS link, thanks [/ QUOTE ] http://www.cbs59.com/ I've been watching highlights of Bluefield games on WVNS all season long. They're superior to WVVA. Playoff games are played either on Friday night at 7:30 or Saturday afternoon at 1:30. The visiting team gets to choose which day they prefer. [/ QUOTE ] BHS today does a better job then WVVA and with a lot less buget!
  2. And James Monroe would be no where near as good without Taylor Robertson.....Scott would be no where near as good without Jordan Roberts.....and Richlands would be no where near as good without Austin Fuller. Those teams better be thanking their players as well. Without them they would be hurting against good teams.

  4. [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] The way the Hokies have come out tonight, it is makes last week a little easier to swallow... [/ QUOTE ] Not really. I'm still wet in places from sitting out at that game. I think G-man is too. LOL I hope they can keep it going next week for F$U. [/ QUOTE ] sitting? never did any of that at the game...and this makes me so happy that glennon is playing like this. Keep it up Sean! [/ QUOTE ] Got me there. I meant to say standing! lol I think Sean played better in a GT jersey last night then Reggie Ball did in four years there. [/ QUOTE ] Glennon's second choice to VT coming out of HS...Georgia Tech... [/ QUOTE ] I had read that before. Welcome home, G-Man.

  7. Maybe they could use it for some of WVU's high school opponets they are playing this year. I've never seen a team win their game and fall backward as many times as WVU has this year.
  8. All students can be bad in some way or another at every school. Even a Christian Academy. I have a friend who is a Shady Spring grad and she and her husband went to watch the Tigers play at the Skyhawks one Friday night, in 2003 I believe, and they said that the P.A. announcer there was totally unprofessional during the game. At the end of a play there was a Tiger down and the announcer was calling out on the speaker: "hey number so and so, why can't you get up?" That is one story I heard about Scott. They will be a challange for the Beavers if passing plays are called and Cole continues to miss wide open receivers all night. I heard one of Scott's assistant coaches on Gamenight and he said they have been waiting for the Beavers for 364 days!
  9. [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] I just have not seen any improvement with him and his errant throws. A lot of times his throws are not even close to his receivers. Bluefield ran the same play twice in a row, in the first quarter i think, and the throw was to the same guy on the same route to the same place on the field and he throws a badly uncatchable ball both times when Ponder was behind the defense. Not to mention, he had guys open all over the field, but never looked at em. As far as the interceptions go, they were lazy passes into triple coverage. Easy picks for the safety. I still don't know why Bluefield was calling passing plays when they were running the ball very effectively. The go ahead score was like eight or nine plays and they were all runs!! [/ QUOTE ] Brother, you are now preaching the gospel from the book of G-Man... [/ QUOTE ] Just don't expect me to donate to the ministry. I'm still kicking myself over that money I gave that preacher that was screwing the hockey players several years back.

[/ QUOTE ] Keep it up and I won't let you have any chicken or beer! LOL I am waiting for a call from the bunch in the van coming from NOVA now. They have the supplies and I hope they get here soon! I'm getting hungry and thirsty!! LOL I have to at least look like i am working at least for a little while, you know. Even if it is just being here in body only today. Besides, it is dryer in the office then in the parking lot right now!
  13. Congrates guys on a site well kept and informative! Keep up the great work!
  14. [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] I think several little league positions will be open to all the great thinkers on this message board I know i will be on the look for a o coordinator's job at a local little league [/ QUOTE ] If you do a good job, apply for the OC job at VT...we could use some help on that side of the ball...LOL [/ QUOTE ] I was waiting for you to say something like that! lol
  15. I love it when these two get together towards the end of the season and/or in the playoffs. The games are as tough and physical as they come and it make for some quality high school football for the fans in the stands. I enjoy going to Linside when the game is there and I hope the JM fans enjoy there trip to Mitchell this year with the new turf. Good luck to both teams for a clean game and no injuries. Go Beavers!
  16. My brother-in-law has been a WVSSAC football official for 20+ years in the Fairmont area. He has told some really funny stories over the years, but nothing about biased officials or unprofessionalism by any means. I am going to ask him what he thinks about it. Being a Beaver, I know I can get a little biased at times, but I also know these guys are human and sometimes they miss things.
  17. Like I said G-Man, the radio crew was painting a different picture for those of us that couldn't be there. I was getting pissed off listening to it in the first couple of min. That is why i became Vince Lombardi screaming "What the hell is going on out there?!?!" :-)
  18. Noooooooooooooooooo..................not Lil' Bill.
  19. Well are they even going to be known as "Bluefield" anymore? They are playing games everywhere except "Bluefield."
  20. I am now dumber for having wasted the time to read this post.

If you read about Pikeview on Wikipedia, i bet playing Charles Montgomery Burns in football instead of Pikeview would be an upgrade. Excellent!
  22. [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] One of the most talented backs from Pikeview is playing for Graham now and has made a difference. Do you know him , if I'm not misstaken his classmates still live as he does in the PVHS area, those he abondaned. [/ QUOTE ] "Cocaine is a hell of a drug!" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rick_James [/ QUOTE ] "I must be losin my mind......chump Charlie Murphy talk about kickin my a$$!!!.......ain't that a B."
  23. marion barber iii is the only one carring my team right now. receivers are l. fitzgerald, m. harrison, & r. wayne and they have started off c-c-c-cold! drew brees hasn't been able to hit a bull in the ass with a bass fiddle yet. my team blows so far.
  24. [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Why does WVU have problems with USF??..granted USF is prolly good, but seriously? [/ QUOTE ] Florida athletes. [/ QUOTE ] doesn't rich rod have half his roster filled by kids from florida?? maybe they are just not on the d-line. usf d-line was just beatting the crap out of that wvu o-line physically.
  25. [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] God knows I hate to agree with a Tech fan however this kid is trouble with a capital B [bradshaw]. Maybe he can stand prosperity or the thoughts of it. [/ QUOTE ] How is Devine trouble? From everything I've heard he is a pretty humble person. He got into some trouble in high school but has worked hard to make it into college. One of the reasons he came to West Va was to get away from the people who was giving him a bad name. [/ QUOTE ] I thought i heard that he told Deion where he could go when Deion invited him to live with him and mentor him. Devine i thought was living with his girlfriend his last semester in high school and they have two kids together. I could be worng. [/ QUOTE ] yeah but living with your gf when you dont have a family dont make you trouble... maybe he just wants to do right, [/ QUOTE ] no, but it could lead to trouble. we shall see.
