Richlands just lost one starter on defense and two on offense. I wouldn't consider that losing a lot.

I was there and I wasn't impressed with any of the Bluefield QBs passing abilities. Alot of people can throw the ball not many can pass the ball.

Their QBs looked to be young or out of sync. They really didn't pass the ball all that well.

Well, the 2011 schedule will look different with Grundy and Lebanon replaced the Patrick Co. and Pulaski Co. I was told RHS tried to schedule Cave, Christiansburg or Blacksburg but couldn't get the scheduling to match up. So, maybe things are changing. I believe it will be better for the program to play as many quality AA teams as possible.

Its good when your program is talked about in a negative or positive lite, just makes one realize how good you must be, everyone wants to down you and take jabs at you........we must be doing something right. Its called hard off season work ethic. What would we do without Bulldog52 cuttin us.

Shouldn't they have been in the weight room in December. Not waiting until this summer. Maybe that is the problem. There is NO off season in football anymore!!!!!!

Where is your documentation to prove your point? All schools self report violations both secondary and major violations. I think you will be surprised what schools led the pack. I have, Penn St vs Bama, Penn St vs West Virginia, Tennessee vs Bama, Tennessee vs Florida, Michigan St vs Texas Tech, VT vs WV, UCLA vs Tennessee, Notre Dame vs Tennessee, Virginia vs Miami, Virginia vs WV, Virginia vs Pitt, just to name a few.

Relax already! Its called free-well. There are rules in place. Last I checked, we can still make decisions that are best for each of us. If a kid wanted to transfer to THS would you have problems with it?

Agreed. You can be a homer all you want as long as you recognize what accomplishments have been made throughout history, recent and non so recent. Like I said earlier, Tech has done a good job the last 15-20 years, but don't compare the histories of programs like Bama, Tennessee, Auburn with that of Techs. And whether BigD just wants to consider history of his program since his birth, well thats his prerogative. However, its probably a good thing we don't view all historical events and traditions in that manner, just since our individual births. Nothing happened before I was born. I think!!

I'm talking tradition over 75-100 years. I'm not sure what SEC games Hackers been to but it must have been Vandy vs Kentucky or something. The atomsphere is unmatched by anyones standards and they don't have to play Metallica to get fired up. I agree Tech has been a good program for the last several years, but no titles to show for it. If you're lucky you may get to witness alot of SEC football in the near future as the SEC hand picks several teams to join that great conference. From what I am reading, hearing looks like VT will be one of the teams to get an invite.

Maybe some of you "VT Homers" need to attend some football games in the best conference in all of college football, SEC. There you will see some great traditions both prior to the beginning of the game and during the game!!!!! Not some rock song being played at 200 decibels. Oh, I remember Tech doesn't have a rich tradition they just discovered football about 15 years ago.

Maybe he has fallen into the Michigan/Ohio State type of situation. You know if you don't beat the other then no matter how good of a record or seasons you've had you are apt to get alot of criticism.

I think RHS' first game is at 0900. Trying to get a schedule myself, Mance said he'd have one out before Saturday.

Speaking of a long season, I just heard a rumor that Shaq was going to transfer to Richlands.......anyone else heard this one?
