It will be hard to say how good Galax will be next year. They lose many seniors on both sides of the ball after this year.

Somebody is doing their homework. Galax and Grayson our considered completley different city/county. Their is one HS in Galax, and one in Grayson. They are both single A, and share the same district (MED). Carroll is bigger than both of those combined as far as students go. Carroll usually graduates around 250 a year, sometimes more. Galax and Grayson are usually in the 60 to 80 range.

There is only one HS in Carroll. So they pull from the entire county.

Carroll County is suppose to play Fort Chiswell and Giles. It will probably not happen with all 3 teams in the playoffs for football.

Yes you are correct in saying that. The 2003 season is the year we went 10-2. We lost to Magna Vista in the Region Championship 3-0.

You don't have to look any further than Pulaski's schedule to find out why they are struggling. Plus losing D1 Peak and that is a reciepe for a down season. They will bounce back. They always do.

The way C'burg played Salem last Friday, I find it hard to pick against them.

I played on that team you are referring to that went into Graham 8-0. That is incorrect, we went into that game at 9-0 and lost our last two games. Graham put a hurting on us the last week of the season to knock us out of winning the district championship. Then the next week Lee High came to Hillsville and thumped us. I think it took a lot out of us when we didn't when the district that year. I do agree however, about not giving Overfelt more touches that night. He and the rest of that team where a good bunch of ball players. The two division one players that were mentioned from Graham I think you are talking about the Mullins kid that played DE. He was a load, and very hard to handle up front. If he didn't go D1 then they missed out on him. I really can't remember anyone else from that team that had that kind of talent, even though they were a really good football team.

If PH had kids running 4.6's we would have heard about them by now.
