  1. Oh yes, their Honr Code prevents them from partaking in cafeine! So pre-marital sex is out of the question. That is probably why there is 40 some odd members on the football team that is married. That and they are two years older than most college football players.
  2. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/news/story?id=6175090 i WONDER WHAT THE KID DID?
  3. His dad, stepmom, sister live in princeton. He called them from a gas station on Oakvale road at noon on Tuesday.
  4. behind walmart in princeton....Marshalls, police, chopper....everywhere at the time....
  5. I believe in good sportsmanship too, but are the starters on the floor the whole time, or is this the bench? You can look at it this way too......If he doesn't get those subs in working on what makes them tick......the press....then what happens when they are in a state playoff and an injury or foul out situation occurs? I also see your point of just backing off and playing zone or man in half court, but I also agree with this is a varsity sport. You gotta get better or lose and lose badly. I'm very impressed with SC, the other teams just have to get better at taking care of the ball against the press and playing b etter D.
  6. http://bdtonline.com/localsports/x186197029/Summers-County-dominates-Raiders Brown has a quadruple double!!!!! Summers County forced an amazing 52 turnovers, including 31 in the opening half take a 57-10 lead. Candace Brown led the Bobcats’ patented pressure defense with 15 steals, and also added 16 points, 14 rebounds and dished out 10 assists. Also in the article...Raiders took 32 shots....Summers had 32 in the first quarter. Raiders had a total of 26 points, Bobcats had 26 before the Raiders scored their first bucket! Completely crazy...domination! Can PikeView pull the upset?
  7. Thanks for the link.....I think he said it once.....it's ok, I'm sure no keyboard was injured there.

  12. I'm not sure, but I thought both ADs had a meeting this past season. I could be wrong, but anyone have an idea?
  13. I really hope we can put things together this year. Stay injury free and stay within a few games of Philly. They are loaded on offense and defense. It could make for some fun baseball if our pitching can be good and effective.....whose the closer since Wags retired?
  14. http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/bracketology BE 11 ACC 5 WVU VS. VT IN 1ST ROUND! I don't think WVU gets a seed that high, not sure that VT gets in at this point, but it would be fun for the area to get the two teams on the court!
  15. from tonight's basketball games?
  16. It's like football, a lot of people just want a state title. Instead of helping their town and having some pride, they run to the place where they might win. If your family is relocating, then that is a great opportunity for you. Otherwise, "living with grandma" or whoever is a sad excuse to change schools. Several kids from Princeton / Graham have found their way to Bluefield. Don't think someone in support of the program isn't playing "Buddy Garrity" (Friday Night Lights -TV) So even if it isn't the coaches, the boosters help out a bit. Wayne is an outstanding coach and had done great things. I don't know if some kids have been "recruited" but they seem to always have players , but most of all, they are well coached! I wish kids would have more idea of community pride and stay with their area schools. It's hard to be competitive w/o the players you need. A former Graham coach once said, "you can't make chicken salad out of chicken $&^*! I know it's harsh way of putting it , but if you don't have the talent, you can't make them great, but competitive is still attainable. I hope to get by and see them on Monday....anyone know who SC plays?
  17. Wayne Ryan needs to be hired for a college job. 89 wins in a row from a school in Hinton? Wow...nothing short of amazing.
  18. Jacob Lambert of Bland County has also signed to play at Concord!
  19. If she's legal.......fine. But she isn't even smoking hot! Why would you risk the age thing with her. Geez, you are the STARTING QB for the Jets and you surely had hotter at USC. Come on Sanchez.
  20. who has the area's best d?
  21. What D did they run last year? Just curious?
  22. Little brother did indeed! However, ask the fans there how important it was to them? Ask the players....the actions of the players / fans of Marshall was like they won the Super Bowl! Anyway, that's my interpretation and many others.....not just us blue / gold glasses wearing EER fans! You know what they say....opinions are like aholes...eveyone has one.
