Thoughts on this playoff match-up. Last Time these two squared off, Grundy's Ian Scammell ran the ball like a mad man over Honaker to get the W. Does Grundy let Scammell loose again or can Honaker find a way to stop Scammell and go on to the next round.
I got one question about the power points. It probably won't happen, but say if Honaker was to wins the rest of their games, where would they be ranked at based on power points
hey guys. I'm going ahead and say I'm sorry that I haven't been on here for quite some time, with work and every thing else going on. I haven't had a chance to reply to some SWVA Football topics. In all, again I apologies. hopefully i can get back into the swing of things and start replying to some football topics
for 1D, its a toss-up, but the five that will contend for 1D title is as followed. J.I. Burton, Patrick Henry, Chilhowie, Twin Springs, and Holston(since they're defending champions). and the darkhorse would be Rural Retreat. then again who knows
@stantheman yeah, Honaker is moving to the Hogoheegee District starting next year, even though I think it would have been better for Honaker to be in the Cumberland District, but what do we know, we're not the VHSL board. Oh well.
since Honaker is going to the Hogoheegee district with realignment, even tho I think they should be in the Cumberland district myself, when Hurley, Twin Valley, and Grundy consolidate, what district will they be put in, Southwest or Mountain 7
Pretty much for 1D. It runs through Chilhowie, Patrick Henry, Grundy and Burton. 2D, it's a toss up between, Graham, Ridgeview, Union, and the dark horses, Tazewell and Richlands.
Thank you @GMan you done a fine job with this forum. Always love being on here and post anything involving SWVA or Southern WV sports. Keep up the great work you do for this forum.
Any word on who is going to be the next Honaker Head Coach. whoever it is, they have big shoes to fill. anyone on here agree or disagree that one day Doug Hubbard's name will be called to be in the VHSL Hall of Fame
