this is gonna be one for the books.. ive never seen any either of these teams play.. but im buyin a ticket for this one when i get 2 richmond.. 5 times in one year.. there has to be a huge rivalry there.. and apparently there both outstanding teams.. should be good

the majority of QF winners were region runner ups.. thats not common..

if last years game is any indicator to this years.. were in for a thriller.. it was a pretty close game last year.. i think twin valley can beat east mont.. but the mustangs are definitely not a team to be taken lightly..

the thing with twin valley is.. you cant just concentrate on one player to shut down.. cuz on any given nigh.. any of there 5 starters can drop 20... and the ones who dont score as much.. benefit the team with assists and defense.. they are truly a well oiled machine.. and play better team basketball than any team ive seen.. if they keep it up.. i think they have a chance at packin home some rings next week..

i just noticed.. that pulaski's gym has letters on the bleachers spelling out PHS.. the last time twin valley played in a gym that had letters on the bleachers (christiansburg in last years QF's) , they won.. haha nolepanther maybe thats a good sign..

nope he didnt.. going into the region semi's he had 34 points left.. im not sure how many points he scored in the semi-finals.. but i know it wasnt 34... i really wish tv and council had been on opposite sides of the bracket.. so they could've both had a chance at the QF.. and then he probably would've gotten it.. and yes he is a good ball player... but i still think he coulda did a little better than svcc (no disrespect to southwest) if he had went to another county school and played football..

yea im going to agree and say both Region D teams go.. at least council.. bland actually has a chance to beat burton.. but i dont see narrows beating council.. because from what i hear they shouldn't have even beat northwood... but did because of some sucky officiating

Tihlee is a definite yes... if he would do it... that kid is a great athlete.. and as far as Horne from TV goes, i would assume he would do it.. not for sure tho..

pulaski high school is in dublin.. bout a 2.5 hour drive... on a bus..

yea if they beat TV its definitely gonna be with an outside game.. cuz there has yet to be a team to beat them inside.. and FatBoy.. on the subject of saturday.. they WERE in control.. they had a 16 point lead.. and let it go.. two bad calls at the end put the final nails in the coffin.. but bad calls or no bad calls.. theres no excuse for blowin a 16 point lead.. but i think they'll play better against Galax.. the mentality is different when its win or go home..

i agree 100% there are a handful of good refs in this area.. you could probably count them on one hand.. but its weird how the color jersey your wearing determines whether your elbow or your over the back or your walk.. actual causes a whistle to be blown.. it hurts to watch a game that the kids work so hard to win, be decided by 3 people in striped shirts, instead of the determination and endurance of the athletes..
