Ate at Curklins last Dec and liked it. The pizza place there was pretty good back last summer

Must do the same thing with pizza that we do there. Some might like cold pizzas but me, 😝 I figure its either concessions or McDs on the way in since I know it. Sounds like need to get there early enough for a parking spot. If anybody is in the friendly nature stop in and say hi. I usually try to be somewhere around the 50 yd line up high.

Important question for the Union folks, how's the concessions down there? Great food or stop in before get there?

Don't take lessons from WVVA though. Nobody tops them in ignoring teams in their back door on this side of the state line.

He did play most of the Princeton game but I can't tell you what the stats were. They came out flat in that game and they played like it. I'm not making any excuse but nobody wanted that game, not sure why they scheduled it. Princeton had some strong coverage. Would love to see them Vs Graham (I'd be a huge G-fan in that one). Creasy landed on his shoulder in the RH game which was injured last year. The Graham game he had a different injury that I was told but not want to disclose it here. I'll just say that I'd imagine he was in pain before he even took that hit.

When it comes down to it, I do have to pull for the SWD teams. But is still hard lol

I'll admit that is me. It all comes down to being good winners. I saw some very bad winners from the G fans on this board (not all) after the win. So if Union fans show bad sportsmanship, I can swing right back over to Graham for the win. Said it a million times and nothing is going to change, but it is hard to pull for a rival. So far the overall Union fan chatter has been respectful and kind of like Tazewell fans. We aren't real sure what to expect so we will wait and see what happens and just look forward to a good game. On another note, I can assure from what I heard yesterday that they are fired up and ready for this. Now the results may not come that they want, but they have the right attitude to start with!

Don't really have a dog in the fight as I want our streak to continue lol but valid question here. If he is that old, has the game not passed him up? Look at when Joe Gibbs came back, yes some immediate success but after about half a season you could tell that the game was passing him quickly.

They tried doing the same again this year and in the first quarter, RV did a good job at it. Thankfully they adjusted and were able to make the plays.

Try looking at the stats this year and look how much the ball is spread all over the place. As far as last year, you have a D1 receiver, why wouldn't you get the ball to him every chance you have. Think I have seen that comment made regarding other teams quite frequently on here.

The key is going to be for Creasy to find a way to buy some time. Ridgeview swarmed him pretty well in the first quarter then adjustments were made. Graham had a great defense and some wrong choice on stop go routes made things look that much worse. Again caused by not having enough time. I'm looking quite forward to it and will just have to wait and see. Part I dread the most is finding somewhere to park. I remember how much fun that was the last time down there. On a side note I'll be quite interested to see if they fixed all the things I complained about down there, everybody says they did 🙂lol

Who is the best passing team that Union has played so far?

Barstool is pretty popular but they arent the most reputable out there and they have a history of offending as well. Never been a fan of them at all. That's the one. Glad it wasn't anything worse than that.

Our radio crew does quite well I think overall. Sometimes a misspoken statement but usually always apologizes and/or corrects it. Still with that said nobody and I mean absolutely nobody can ever top Larry Hypes. Don't think I ever heard him say a single bad thing or be accused of being a homer.

Not asking for the call out on the post but was it a player or an adult fan? There are those types of fans everywhere unfortunately. I for one wanted Oquinn to be there playing so we could see the battle of QBs. Don't knock a whole team for one jackass person. On another note, does anybody have an update for the player that got hurt on RV final touchdown? That looked like a nasty injury from what we could see in the stands.

Some of the better reasons for it to be on Saturday. Getting older sucks and don't recover from things like use to. I fuss at my boy for wearing shorts on cold days like to the game last Friday night then I think back and I did the same thing back then. I was complaining about 41 degrees last week.

Game wise it was a very good one and really enjoyable even with the loss but I think it took me all the way back to Lebanon before I got thawed out.
